  1. Introduction The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit is an Arma 3 Milsim Community that was founded in October of 2018. Founded by Active Duty and Retired Military members, the 31st MEU is dedicated to providing an immersive and realistic Milsim experience. Based on the real life 31st MEU, we are dedicated to emulating the real thing in a respectful and tasteful manner. About Us North American Based Unit operating on Eastern Standard Time. Medium Sized group, averaging 30+ per operation. (Operations last from 2-3 Hours). Most of our members range from the 18-35 age group, and we have members from all over the world. We understand that real world comes first and we will work with those on a tight schedule. We strive to get new members into the unit as quickly as possible, therefore we run RTB/SOI Sunday though Thursday to make sure everyone is able to get trained when available. We have a zero drama policy. If you are not willing to work with a team, you will not fit in here. Lone wolves are not permitted. Subordinate Units 31st MEU is structured as a Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), giving us the ability to deploy and strike effectively and efficiently using a wide range of assets.   2. This is a very early peak of the Island, at this time we have a low res terrain texture map. The map is one of the largest in Arma 3 at this point (thank god for 64bit). The map is 1,430 km² at 1:1 It takes traveling in a F-16 1060KM around the island about 8 minutes and over 13 minutes in a RHS blackhawk from the West point to the East point traveling an average speed of 225km. We are getting at this point 90frames. Our modest team is learning while we go... that means lots of testing to make sure our frames stay very low.

    Very sorry for not updating everyone... we have been working on the high res textures and its taking for ever making sure everything looks good... a lot of photoshop :) We are also working on some building assets and some apex editor Symbols for Aviation. This is going to be a map that will finally give us the finish touches of teaching advanced flight at Arma Flight School. We are updating all of our curricula so that it matches the FAA training. Were hoping we will teach 30 percent of the curricula for a Airman certificate.

    [WIP] UH-60M BLACK HAWK

    We are currently looking for a great UH-60 for Arma Flight School. Currently we are using the RHS UH, but it is lacking a lot of capabilities. We have 7 certifications that must be passed before graduating Advanced Transport... they are; Carrier Ops, CASAVAC, Flight Malfunctions, SERE, Advanced Landing Procedures, IFR Flight, and Combat Insertion. The course last for 6 weeks and most classes have over 16 students, course is offered European time and American Time. So for a long story short we are very excited to have a great UH-60 for the course that can do these functions. We have a lot of clan founders offering flight positions to our Qualified pilots and our pilots take most of our air vehicles selections back to the clan to use. Donated!

    Medevac system

    We have been using a coop map called Medevac for Arma Flight School every Thursday night for students to get real world flight time and training. We are getting a pretty good size group playing and now have expanded to two Blackhawks full crew with 2 PJ's and now were adding a gun ship. Everything is planned out to the wire.   12. ARMA FLIGHT SCHOOL Pipeline We follow a condensed version of the standard pilot training pipeline to fit the purposes of ARMA 3. All students begin their training in the T-6A Texan II to gain the muscle memory of sensitive controls, learning ways to communicate of radios, and understanding the standard air procedures. After completing the introductory course, students will be automatically enrolled in the Basic Rotary Flight Training course to learn the basics of flight in the MH-9 Hummingbird using the Arma 3 Helicopters (RotorLib) DLC and advanced flight model. Students who graduate the Basic Rotary Flight Training will have the option to enroll in Advanced Rotary Flight Training involving larger airframes to learn safety measures, formation tactics, and instrument flight in preparation for combat. Combat Rotary Flight Training is the fourth course in the pilot training pipeline and teaches students CAS tactics and 9-line JTARs. The fifth, and final course offered to active students is Fixed Wing Training, which involves in-depth fighter maneuvering and interdiction tactics.     AFS Combat Rescue Night Arma Combat Rescue Operations is a designated map that will test all the skills that we teach at Arma Flight School. ACRO will be on designated nights scheduled in our calendar of events so Students can plan ahead and join in on certain game nights. We are excited to host Arma Combat Rescue Operations on the Arma Flight School Server. Following Rules Pilots must be qualified by AFS, to PIC (Pilot in Control) a helicopter. Co Pilot and fly with the supervision of a Qualified pilot as long as the PIC can take over the controls. Chief Crewman must be trained as an Advanced CMT (Combat Medical Trained) and Ground Control Operations. Crewman needs to be verified and checked off by the PIC (MORE TO COME) PJ must be Special Operations Status with Advanced CMT To participate in Combat Rescue Operations you must be a Arma Flight School Student

  15. I updated a map that has been working for the last 6 months and now I no longer have player slots showing up when you first attempt to join the game. I have made sure that all players are playable, I even deleted them all and added just one to test with no luck.
