I agree that the power curve is too sensitive, especially if you are using a keyboard, and mouse, as you can only adjust the throttle in increments of 3%-5%. I've played around with the VTOLs, and the flight characteristics are odd to say the least, if not outright very unrealistic. The flights characteristics are too unpredictable, you can gain altitude without raising the throttle when you stop forward flight (completely unrealistic), and the slightest misadjustment with the throttle (way to easy to do with a keyboard, and mouse), and you drop like a rock. As the OP stated, with such a small percentage of throttle being the difference between gaining altitude, and dropping like a rock, that is a problem. Now add to the fact that many people only use a keyboard, and mouse, where you can only adjust the throttle in increments of 3%-5%, and you have a serious issue, one that should be addressed.

Yes, maybe, I don't know anything about coding. The point is that the textures are already there, I guess people that know more can call the textures in some better way. Maybe you could go over to that thread and put some examples of better ways to use the textures.

I've read people say that it is, but I sure can't find the option to change it in the editor. I like the standing animation, but it may look a little strange with a guy with his head out of the aircraft moving at 275 kph. -
No, the pics I'm talking about are much worse, they are literately animations of people taking selfies. Let me be clear for everyone, I didn't mean to be too harsh, and my comment, while somewhat serious, was not meant to be overly critical of those posting the poser pics.

Yes, people can post what they want, but I can also comment as I see fit as long as I don't break the rules. I'm just saying the operator posers pics are getting old (I know I'm not the only one with think opinion), and selfie animations are just too much for me. Lighten up, and don't take it so personally.

Somebody just posted pics of operators with animations posing for selfies. Oh dear God please make it stop, stop with the operator poser pics, it's gone on too long, and has gone too far. LoL

FireWill, I was trying to attach the fuel probe from your UH-80r mod to the Huron, and getting the probe attached is not a problem, but I don't know how to hide the helifire missiles, missile rack, the miniguns, or the 30mm guns. Can you help me out? Or maybe you could do a Huron mod to add the refuel probe, and FLIR pod. Couldn't agree more, Malden is a very detailed terrain. When I saw some of the preview videos people were doing, it looked pretty arid, and somewhat sparse, but that couldn't be further from the truth. In the air flying around, it does look pretty arid, but moving around on foot, you really see the attention to detail, and that Malden is quite lush, and has more vegetation than Altis. Fantastic free addon, the community is very lucky to still be getting this kind of support for a game that is almost 4 years old. Great job BI.

CSAT prepares to invade the Islands of Tanoa, The first objective is to capturing the Blue Pearl Industrial Port to secure a landing area for incoming men, and material. The special operations Viper Teams will be tasked with capturing, and securing the port. Insertion of the Viper Teams off the coast of Tanoa. The Viper divers about to get on the ramp for insertion. The diver teams swim their way in to secure the docks for the follow on teams. Viper Team divers stand watch as the rest of the team prepares to ascend the ladder. Climbing the ladder. Yes, it's a game, and people can do whatever they want, but they don't have to post it in a public forum, and on Memorial Day weekend no less. With that said, I wasn't implying that the post should be removed, or such content should never be posted, I was simply commenting on the fact that it is disrespectful.

Von, It's great to see that you are working on the mod again. I had a couple of quick questions. Para jump worked fine for me, but when I try to HALO jump, the jump master says I don't have oxygen. I have the oxygen bottle in re-breather, is that correct? Also, I didn't see an option for para dropping the quad bike, raft, or ammo box, is that feature not in the current version? I saw that someone had a mod pack they called YP UH60 pack. I did a search, but couldn't find the mod. Does anyone have any more info on this mod?
