    Can you give some more details about what exactly you want to do, it would be easier to give you solutions that way. If you just want to pick something up with a helicopter when you fly over it, and release it at a certain point, triggers with the attach/detach command would be the simplest.

    I just played your Swift Venom mission, I thought it was pretty good, I like the SF type ops. It was a nice mix of challenging, but not too difficult. I rated, and commented on the Steam page for you. Guys, if you like Wiki's missions, don't forget to rate, and comment.

    No, didn't finish yet, I keep getting my butt blown up from AA missiles. I'm not very good flying the jets, so this mission will be quite a challenge for me.

    Ops, sorry about that, I'll edit my post to remove the clutter from your thread. ETA: I just tried going to the catapult that didn't have the deck crew on it (second catapult from the left) and was able to launch just fine.

    Just tested with no mods, same thing, I keep dying on launch. Oh well. Anyway, please consider the feedback I offer above, and consider using the subtitle function for any dialogue. It's a detail that too many mission makers skip, but really is a nice touch, and makes reading the dialogue much easier.

    I've launched from the carrier many times before, I've never had any issues. I used the hold action to initiate launch, and everything seemed normal, but the plane engine never spooled up passed 20%, so the launch just throws me into the water because there is not enough power to fly. I do have a couple of mods, but nothing that should cause any issues (3den Enhanced, and Emitter 3Ditor). In fact, I tried in the editor to launch from the carrier, and had no issues using these mods. I guess it could have been just a weird glitch. Just a little feedback. Please consider using the subtitle function instead of the side chat for the beginning briefing. I would encourage all mission makers to use the subtitle function for all dialogue, it's so much better than using the side chat. It's much easier to read, and makes dialogue much easier to distinguish from the normal side chat that pops up in the game.

    I tried twice to take off of the carrier at the start of the mission, and was just launched into the water, and was killed. The aircraft engine never spooled up past 20%. The hint box said to initiate launch, I'm not sure what's going wrong.

    Emitter 3Ditor

    I think the problem with the tutorial windows is on my end. The problem I had with changing elevation of the emitters was because I didn't turn off the snap to surface. I have another problem. I can't seem to sync the emitters to a trigger, like in your second video. I can sync them, but it doesn't work, the emitters are already on without the trigger being fired. ETA: I see you can't sync the emitter to triggers in the normal way, you have to use Alt+S.

    A few things I found in testing so far. When I place an emitters down using the "Insert" key, I can't seem to change the elevation. I does nothing, then all of a sudden, it moves it on the X, or Y axis, but not the Z axis. Anyone else having that issue? Also, testing in the editor, I seem to have the emitters not spawn, seems to happen semi-consistently. I have to go back to the editor, and try again, it then usually works. I also noticed that some of the the yellow tutorial windows are showing up at the edge of the screen, cutting off half the window (It could be my setup). Anyway, pretty cool mod.

    Thank you BI [2018 Roadmap Update]

    There is not doubt that the updates always seem to include little in the way of details, and now we're getting even less. Worse yet is the fact that we're now getting updates that contradict previous updates. I too am very disappointed that the "Old Man" project that was promised has now been delayed, and replaced with an MP mode, an old gun pack, and BI character models that I have absolutely no interest in. Imperator[TFD], My expectations are based solely on what BI told us they would deliver. I was very excited when BI told us they would do a proper SP conversion of the Apex campaign. I was extremely disappointed to hear BI canceled the project (after a full year of myself, and many others waiting for it). BI told us that they would deliver a new SP campaign this year to make up for the canceled Apex conversion. Now they tell us the project is not going to be delivered this year. Worse yet, they provide no timeline for the project whatsoever. My expectations are not unrealistic, BI is not delivering on what they told us they would. This is my greatest disappointment with BI. I cannot comprehend how Arma 4 is still at least a "few" years away. What is a "few?" A couple is two, so a few is three, or more? Is Arma 4 at least three, or more years away? For me that is completely unacceptable, short of a complete expansion being released in the meantime (we know that isn't happening). I cannot comprehend the business decision to not start the development of A4 years ago, and having an A4 beta release sometime in 2019. What the heck have I been supporting Arma for with my DLC purchases if they weren't developing A4? Very disappointing.

    Is there an authorized port of the YuraPetrov Black Hawks? I could be mistaken, but I believe the owners strictly forbid the porting of their Black Hawks.
  19. So, do the pictures have to be .paa format? Let me clarify, I'm not using logos, I want to have pictures, then text fade in, and out of the intro. Similar to the intros for the Tac Ops missions. Also, is there documentation on how to set up the safe zones?

    There is no doubt that activity is slowing around here, and with the devs making it clear that Arma 4 is years away, I agree, we shouldn't be discouraging people from participating on the forums. I've been telling people on here for a year now that with A3 being four, now almost five years old, and with A4 so far away, that the community would begin to slip away. Many seemed to doubt me, but here we are, we're starting to see it. Hopefully most will be back when A4 releases, but in the meantime, we should be encouraging participation, and try to support those creating content, including stuff as simple as screenshots.
