    Also, using the search function for Rank 1 unit members does not work, have 185 pages of members, yet putting their Bohemia name in the search field will not bring them up.     If you are able to do so, using the default ports will resolve the issue you are describing for its online status on the Arma 3 Units page. There is an issue that sometimes prevents the Arma 3 Units page from displaying the proper online or offline status of an Arma 3 server if the server is using a custom port other than the default port which is listed on this page: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Dedicated_Server

     

    Unfortunately there is not an eta of when or if this particular issue would be resolved.

    "Games servers by domain name instead of just IP address" was a feature that was planned to look into, but eventually the project got put on hold and there is not a current plan for new/continued development at this time. By IP address is the current functionality.

    Even i tried to get in on a official Arma 3 server, and the result is the same, i can see other units that their logo works great, but our unit logo doesn't.

    For the unit logo to appear, it will sometimes also depend on the server you are on as some servers can be set to not allow for display of the unit logos and still in some cases there might be a bug or issue preventing the logo from appearing.

     

    Double check to see if you can get on a server that is displaying other Unit logos for other players. If you still have the issue in such a case, send me a PM and I will try to help troubleshoot.

    Try to change the properties of the image file, like optimizing it which will make the file size different. Use tinypng DOT com if you do not have an image editing program.
    Change the file name as well before trying to upload and replace it.

    You may also need to delete the local copy of the paa file so that the game can once again download the image for the unit.

    Try optimize the image using an image program. Or try using a site like tinypng DOT com

    Make sure it is in PNG format and that the file size is low, so you might need to optimize the image.

    On some servers there is a bug that prevents the images from being displayed.

    Some servers can be configured to not use or display Arma 3 Units logos and some servers have a bug the prevents it from showing up.

    There is not currently an ETA for updates or when old bugs like this will be addressed.

    Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, all additional development and features to Arma 3 Units is on hold and there is not currently an ETA of any updates.

    To avoid unnecessary questions here's what I tried doing: went to this site  https://accounts.bistudio.com/profile/login in my Bohemia account, clicked on steam icon at bottom and logged in via steam. This last step redirects me back to my Bohemia account page (one I linked). Launcher still thinks my accounts are not linked.

    Direct communication within the Arma 3 Unit system has not been implemented and there is currently no ETA of any updates or adding of features.

    Please double check that you have the minimum amount of characters in the description and bio fields... check there are no red outlined fields remaining, if there are you may need to properly fill out those fields.
