I've added the drop box link for the full mission folder/pbo for anyone who wants to run this mission on a dedicated server. I'd HIGHLY recommend getting an ALiVE War Room account as well...as the War Room will save all of your data/settings everytime you log out to go right back to your mission. Very cool site as well. On a side note.... -Insurgents are constantly recruiting the civilian population to their cause. You can squash these actions by both a] destroying the buildings where they recruit, build IEDs, or store weapons and b] occupying towns/cities to prevent Taliban influence from rising. -You'll want to search/question civilians as they may give you intel on the location of Taliban installations. -

Just doublechecked Accuracy and I didn't have CUP weapons enabled. That was the issue. I forgot that this mod requires Massi's, CUP, and RHS now. On a side note...I have and use all 3 of those extensively, but you may want to look on using one of the 3 as the sole dependent in the future. Just a thought. Great mod though and I'm glad to have a legit ISIS mod to create authentic scenarios with. Adding Syrian or Iraqi "BLUFOR" forces in the future would be an great addition as well. -

Didn't try IND, but it's all of the troops for OPFOR IS. No guns at all. Yes I have RHS loaded. -

I just downloaded the latest update and the Opfor ISIS faction was spawning without weapons. -

Great to hear about Lingor and the other new terrains. It's refreshing to have some areas to play in that aren't yet another Middle East map, etc. Love the African, South American vibe from these terrains. Great fun!! -

So I hopped in the C-130 gunship...took off...flew up to 3500 ft...but never add the option to turn the autopilot on so I could man the weapons. What am I doing wrong? -

I have 2 questions. 1. Where can I find what each optional pbo file in the optional folder does? I read the readme and looked on the wiki and couldn't find a list, etc. of what they do. 2. I use TADST for my dedicated server on my personal pc. Other than creating a new folder for ACEserver pbo and enabling it in the TADST launcher, can everything else be set up for my group in the sp editor and placed with modules? Thanks in advance for both of these answers. We've decided to give ACE, or at least part of it, a try and see how it goes. Was worried about conflicts with all the other mods we use. -

Hey Massi, Have you given any thought to combining all of your packs into one download? Reason I ask is I have several people that try to play my missions but may be missing 1 or 2 packs to play. Between the DEVGRU/SOCOM pack, Vehicle pack, Weapons pack, USMC/MARSCOM pack, African Conflict pack, and Spetsnaz/GRU pack...I can see where it would get a bit overwhelming for someone not familiar with all of the mods. Love your packs by the way. I use them in probably 3/4 of my missions. Great work. -

Setup is pretty basic. I downloaded TADST, Took 1 minute to get going. Tested it...Dedicated server showed up perfectly in game. Chose my mission (vanilla ALiVE MP), chose @Aliveserver, @Alive, @CBA in the TADST module. Game loaded fine. NO errors. Exited out, hit server save and exit....tablet pops up saying "Saving, please wait" but just sits there idle forever. Game doesn't freeze...I can log out by just hitting exit, etc...but no data is saved. And when I go to the War Room..no record of game exists. Servername is exactly the same on War Room. Hostname is correct. I've deleted and redownloaded all of the components needed....I've made sure they're unblocked. Same thing. Had a team member download TADST as well. Do exact same thing..setup, etc. Had the exact same issue. Started great, ran great...but zero ability for Alive War Room to record us ever playing the game. Very very frustrating. -

Anyone on here use TADST as your dedicated server on the same machine for ALiVE? Love the module, but I'm having trouble getting the ALiVE War Room to record my stats from missions I run. Didn't know if anyone else had the same problem running TADST? -

The server itself is working beautifully for me, smooth as butter. However, I can't for the life of me get Persistence to work in my ALiVE missions. The missions will not communicate with the War Room at all. I've tried every step in the ALiVE War Room tutorial, I've deleted and redownloaded @AliveServer (making sure it was unblocked). I've tried putting the ALiVE server config in the app data section, the root folder of Arma...nothing. Game runs great, plays great..but I can't get any communication with the War Room for persistence. Any help would be appreciated. -
It might be ACE. My group played last night with ASR, Blastcore, and TFAR and the AI worked beautifully. I'm actually VERY impressed with the lastest version. I'm running regular difficulty and it was nice not having T-800 terminators that spot you 10000 meters away..in woods....in a snowstorm...at night...with one bad eye....and then proceed to kill you with one shot. I think there is a very nice balance with this latest version. Kudos to Robalo.

Play3D sound....what am I doing wrong??

So I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong in order to get something I imported into the game to play in 3D. I'm fine with having my custom music, sounds work in 2D (ie always on the player location) yet when I name an object (speaker1 for example) then put on the trigger (speaker1 say3D "sound"). Nothing happens. If I set a stock in game sound as the say 3D sound then it works perfectly. So why are my custom sounds music working perfectly in 2d space but only stock sounds/music working for me in 3d space. Any advice would be appreciated. -

Your task as the head of a small UN security detail is to locate and eliminate these terrorists and protect the people of N'Ziwasogo. This mission is a dynamic insurgency. There is no set "task" to do. You and your team must investigate potential hot spots of terrorist activity throughout the entire country and eliminate the threat with the support of UN forces. You have dynamic Close Air Support and Helo Transport, as well as dynamic reinforcement capabilities. Play3D sound....what am I doing wrong??

It didn't work with my custom sounds. It worked with the "stock" vanilla sounds available perfectly. I see my custom sounds in the drop down menu under effects so I know that they are logged correctly. Still won't play though. -
RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

In the last couple of days, I'm suddenly throwing a bunch of RHS script errors. "no entry 'bin\configbin/CfgVehicles/rhsusf_assault_eagleaiii_ocp_mg.simulation" for example. Another about "AnimationSources/HitGlass1 is not defined, etc. The mission is still running fine, etc. but I'm getting 2-3 of these per mission. What causes these generally?- 16577 replies
