  1. Either putting the folder containing the scripts in the mission folder, then adding a line (usually found in the instructions or readme) in init.sqf or alternatively downloading a script and referencing that in the object (a medic placed in the mission itself). The second method makes sense, since the medic has to be there in the editor for me to attach a script to it. But this isn't the behavior I am looking for. I assume I need to find where the AI is recruited and do something there, but I would have no idea what. I have been on a server where I recruited AI and those medics did medic things without being told, so I know it can be done. I wish I had saved that pbo, but I no longer have it.
  2. I have downloaded and tried several script sets to make medics respond to wounded teammates and myself, all of which provide some interesting functionality. What I cannot seem to accomplish is to make this behavior part of a recruited medic. By recruited I mean using one of the various AI recruitment scripts or the AI squad assembly from the Domination or DUWS type missions. I can make a medic created in editor and assigned script behaviors work as expected. This could be that I am using the wrong terms to search, but how can I automate medic behavior in my AI dynamically recruited squad members?
  3. This script was easy to add, and provides life to the previously lifeless cities. It always annoyed me that the massive towns had no people in them. Now when I scan with thermal sights, I have to pick out what is a valid target or not. I also have to refrain from using artillery indiscriminately. This is a great script, thank you for making it and sharing it, its definitely going in everything I can think of creating.
  4. I am very interested in the mechanics of this as well. Ideally, I would like to make a motorized mortar team that can: Move - Mount unarmed hunters or some other appropriate vehicle, travel to firing point, set up Shoot - accept and fire missions from the player Resupply - either have resupply sent to the mortar team or have them travel to a resupply point. If you still have this, I would like to see it. I am very fond of the DUWS mission, where enemy areas are dynamically created and the player can attack them. The support is just shells, however, I think it would be great to have a high command mortar team that has to be in place before fire support is available.
