If it was someting like Ctrl + q/e to control the cant + bubble below the scope yes , but the way it was i dont miss it , i mean as a mechanic it is interesting and fun , but when you cant control it , i mean you cant even be rewarded for paying attention to details and cannot mitigate it reliably other then guess estimating. Like anything you get a feel for it in time but its not reliable.
  2. well to be fair its not that hard to have a leveling bubble on the weapon irl so they either have to add that + some mechanic to level the weapon or just fix it to be level

    i like it as well ... that being said .. shooting uphill is not the easiest when deploying prone ... might need to add the option of extending bipods down the road

    while everyone has different limits im sure most military branches have a certain cut as in ... if your in the SAS and you cant carry X kilos over Y kilometers in Z time .. goodbye

    it wold be nice to combine invade n annex with koth now what do i mean ... 2 bases with airfields ... 1 blufor, 1 independant .... 40 players on each side .. 3 squads of 9 (2 FT + 1 SL), 3 pilots, 2 mortar and sniper teams,Drone operators and one HQ for each team. and spawning AOs main and side mission across the whole map :D

    Dont worry worst case scenario they are gonna crunch it on the night of 7.4. and fix everything.I do wonder how the algorithm works for cuz the simplest way i can think of is a vector ruler with discreet intervals.

    The formula is Alpha = M / I (a=F/m when you ignore the affect of radius ) Alpha is your result acceleration of the weapon M is the force you or recoil put into the weapon I is the inertia of the weapon based on its shape and mass the more inert the weapon its easier to hold the weapon on the target and the harder it is to move the weapon either from target to target or by recoil

    the only mechecanic i can think of is a timer between you clicking the button and the shot going off with the ability to change the timer from 0 to 4 seconds and with penalties,this is not intuitive

    I can understand that , for instance one scenario that is fairly common in shooting is that you can by feel shoot a dead center of a target even if the sight picture is not perfect ( long story short it takes to long for you to see a sight picture decide to take a shot and send the impulse to your hand to jerk the trigger so you rely on automatic skill ). This goes both ways actualy so you can make what you think is a good shot but its out. This is impossible to translate to a game. The reason why i don't like this is one of the principles of shooting is never waste energy that you don't need to. Using muscles ie moving the mouse violates that principle . That's why it feels wrong.

    lazerstrike was talking that after you stop clicking the aim should be where it started , currently you take one shot yes it moves the gun up and right as it should but stops there as if the solider wanted to stop the weapon there and not letting gravity do the work for him and let the gun settle to the original position. why are you aggressive ?

    Well at least you two agree when the weapon is firing you need to control it with the mouse , as far as after , why do you need to move the mouse when gravity should do the work for you ?

    They do a good job, do i expect them to perfectly capture shooting ..no, it is too much work for too small of a payoff that only shooters would notice and if you want the best shooting experience guess what go outside and shoot that being said we do live in a time when kids think cows are purple

    This might be their experience with guns, if you look at the dev video from yesterday , i mean i do not handle firearms i'm more into archery, but the way they handle the guns for me at least tells the whole story + some of them have apparent target panic they flinch in anticipation of a shot and most of them kept their weight on their back foot , its not their job they are first and foremost programmers

    cant test it this week cuz my laptop got busted but it is funny that the 7.62 beats the 338 :confused: Edit: I'm sorry if someone got the idea that you could not kill them ,most of my experience is with opfor twerps who have some uniform armor now that i realize
