  1. What I realized that until (in the garage) 4:41 the light continuously increases as time passes but there is a sudden drop. Maybe clouds causing? However I remember the weather were setup to clear sky. Other idea that the sun reached it's zenith so in real life only scattered light would reach inside but as it is not simulated (?) the interior will be darker.
  2. Created a time-lapse video to demonstrate how the lighting condition changes by the time: During the recording changed the AO settings - screenshot of the video settings added to the video.
  3. Before I never saw these ugly stripes on the buildings. Is it somehow related to the AO? Could someone confirm? And also how to get rid of?
  4. I have serious doubts if targeting system in the MFD panel would be anything useable. Simply placing the targeting data on the panel would be just a visual enhancement. Have you ever used the built in monitor for targeting in HMG/GMG? Tech simply not ready for precise display of such.

    I think that just depends on the distance from the source of sound.

    I give you double chub (however not sure if I know what it means. :) ) - two Wipeout low level flyby: Don't know why it sounds so good...probably the doppler effect? I would love to hear different engine sound when you are behind the airplane and the engines points at you. When first I saw such planes (on an airshow) flyby I was surprised how much different and stronger the sound.

    Created a video showing the sound update for MX gun and Wipeout. MX has more richer sound but the best is the Wipeout. Not tested the terrain blocking - don't know if such feature exits at all in this release.

    Using GTX970 without any startup parameters on 64bit branch. Could it cause the random crash to desktop or just affecting the performance? Is it possible this issue with GTX970 is not appeared on the stable branch?

    Correct me if I am wrong but 64 bit more about stability, reducing FPS stuttering and pawing the road for future tech. At least on client side. Don't know anything about server but I can imagine a heavily modded server can benefit.

    Is above stutters happened using SSD or HDD? Maybe I will do a comparison running Arma 64 bit from HDD and SSD.

    Checked on a low-end machine and performance about the same both on 32 bit and 64 bit.

    Just tested and Combat Patrol working on dev branch. So we can test it anytime if somebody interested

    Played only on the official servers and Combat Patrol is somewhat a quick game mode without briefing or weapon selection. Reminds me the End Game however much slower pace and fight against the AI only.

    If I am not mistaken anybody can start server hosting Combat Patrol. Correct? In case there is interest I can start a server on this week later and play together.

    EUTW developed and well maintained still. Created my first tutorial video about EUTW: Please feel free to share your opinion and suggestion what should be in the next part. I plan to do a series of videos with more detailed information both for beginners and advanced players.

    Probably update will come soon. Combat Patrol stick the team together. Many times happened that we worked together with completely strangers. I would love to see more variety of tasks and goals - now we have only the zero casualties.

    Arma 3 being upgrade to 64 bit

    Correct me if I am wrong but 64 bit is going to change: a) lower stuttering because data loaded from memory instead of hdd (in case using ssd this change will be minimal) b) enabler for future technologies which requires more memory c) arma server performance/number of players increase? Don't know if the memory is a bottleneck or some other parameter currently. d) higher resolution textures (point B) ? I think the textures has to be loaded to system memory not only the GPU's memory?
  19. Plan to replay the whole original campaign again on the latest Arma version to see how much the game involved during the past years. I saw changes in the gameplay in mission "Beyond Recognition" already.

    Spawning random events during the mission. for example: - enemy helicopter in the area - spawn a weapon stack with AA launcher and position revealed for the players on the map - enemy tank in the area - spawn a weapon stack with AT launcher and position revealed for the players on the map - helicopter deploying enemy troops between the extraction point and the city during the extraction phase - hold a house/area - intel has to be recovered from a house / some player must be very close for 5-10 minutes (few meter radius) while enemy attacking

  23. Cannot turn on radar (CTRL+R) even after keyboard binding is set to default Apex. In keyboard settings shows 'MISSING STRING...' but it is true for switching display and that is working. Idea?

    Orange DLC (wild) SPECULATIONS !!!

    This would be badass for sure. Persistent map. Game master controlled storyline with multiple side mission against human or AI. Limitless possibilities. I would even pay for such MP event.
