I really can't wait to see a release for this shark, been looking through the thread screenshots and videos and it honestly looks fantastic, animation/visuals/behavior.

When can we expect a release for this? I'm so excited to try it out!! :don11:

You have been a member of this forum for 4 years and you still dont know that asking for updates is against the rules? Also if you just looked TWO posts above yours ,the developer explained about his work on it regarding releases etc..

H Creating the my post, I only hope, that this shit will be fixed before we get this Tank DLC, within two years/

Maybe you have mentioned this before?

I saw what you write in this thread. All the same blah, blah, blah-  "give me new details"!

In addition to verbal masturbation, there is no word about the main tank issue.

Please do not use language like that on these forums again or I will suspend your account. Try to stay polite, then we all have a nicer time....

The funny this is there was one guy who wanted permission to upload an all-in-one on steam for the private use of him and his unit... and we actually let him do it (with some terms and conditions) because he was the only person who had ever actually asked instead of doing it illegally. People don't even ask before pulling crap like Mr "Amit" here.

People see to think they dont need to ask-So long as they type " I dont own this, toadie2k made it. i'm just helping people download it easily" then everything is somehow fine... I love that attitude-like they are just assisiting the mod maker, because it never occurred to him to post it on steam in the first place.

@dwarden, I am sure you are already aware of this / it's already been investigated, but I kept getting this 3FPS bug whenever I teleported anywhere in SP and sometimes randomly when I didn't. Looked into my virtual memory allocation and saw it was 4 GB. I've increased this now significantly (to 32 GB) and haven't any weird flickering objects / unrecoverable FPS drops since. Unfortunately I've already overwritten my last RPT when I had the bug but thought it was worth passing on regardless. Using the latest perf binaries.

When you say virtual memory..do you mean in the launcher?

    Hi ineptaphid

TPW FOG internally models appropriate climate settings for the map you're on, but these relate to its own temperature, snow likelihood,  and dewpoint variables, it shouldn't affect rain unless it has determined that it should be snowing. Nor does it affect overcast, which rain is dependent on. Which maps are you running?

You can force rain at any time with something like:

    0 setrain 0.5; 0 setovercast 0.8; skiptime 1

I do this all the time when testing out rain related things and it works just fine.

So what determines snow? For example, I will go to Altis in the editor, set the date to December, make it 70% overcast, put rain up to about 40% and in the editor it will start to rain. But when the mission starts the rain instantly stops again. And I have only seen it snow once since using TPW. Is there a specific setting to make sure it will start to snow when I start the mission?

EDIT: Apologies tpw, the rain issue was being caused by ACE. I thought it was tpw, as the rain stopped the second the tpw list appeared on screen. So is there a surefire way to make it snow?

  6. @Gunter Severloh -mate-your tireless work compiling these huge lists on so many things has really saved me a lot of time over the years :) Thanks so much.

The community deserves better that's all I am saying. Small meaningless updates are not what the community deserve, the engine has been milked for too long.

regardless of what you are saying..Your saying it in the wrong thread. Either leave specific feedback fro the 64bit exe or move this conversation to the appropriate thread. Thanks.
