  4. Sadly not at this time. We are working towards getting an Ockenburgh Airfield terrain into ArmA to replace the one that was set for release. All other map projects have been scrapped until we have some manpower on the terrains side. If there will be a map at release is hard to tell at the moment.
  5. Hey guys, Due to a recent falling out in the team the dev team has decided to remove Schwienny from the developer role. We're working towards getting new terrains and we are actively training a new terrain designer. In other news, I've updated all posts with outdated content.. including the main thread. go take a look! it's worth it
  6. Hi, sorry for the late reply. Forgotten Fronts has merged with GCE due to a lack of time on the spanish side of things. we're currently giving the GCE assets a quality update and we're planning to include it within FF later on. After we finish our own release goals of course.
  7. That being said. Let me update you all a bit on the project. It has been a while. Work continues with the great input of all developers and external helpers. the project is really shaping up to much, much more than i couldve ever hoped and learning along the way i myself, and some of our modelers often re-do items for the sake of quality. Wich means it takes some time for us to have something we are happy with to show you guys. Most of our updates have been on discord. However allow me to show you guys some more stuff. The Dutch Faction The dutch faction has had some upgrades since the last time i showed them. More work will be done on variation and ranks for the dutch. But i havent found the time to do so yet. They are still the main focus of this mod. Dutch soldiers in combat (Image by schwienny, other mods used for props etc. the houses will be in Forgotten Fronts however) WIP Fokker D.xxi in flight. Model by FWW2 and Forgotten Fronts team. (In cooperation with Northern Fronts) Dutch NBS in combat configuration Other Stuff/ Etc. For other stuff we have been working on some buildings togheter with lennard from faces of war. We have also taken on some Spanish Civil War assets from our spanish brothers from GCE. Wich will be worked on alongside the content for Forgotten Fronts: Holland. Interior of a dutch pub. Spanish Nationalist Forces (Spanish Civil War) Other than that plans and guidelines have been set for a release, and plans are being made for after said release. We really just want this to be as polished and purrrfect when we release it. We plan to add more early war factions from the lowlands as we progress in the project. P.S. for the recent spike in developement i really want to thank Simcardo, Petrlach and Rikugun for alot of help on assets and sharing their work, without them this simply wouldnt have been possible.
  8. Hi lsk323941, The retexture pack is just something i made for my unit. Wich shares the same name as this. I also use that to test some things from time to time. But this is not the forum for that particular project. This is for the Forgotten Fronts: Holland mod wich is still being worked on.

    Lowlands Warrior

@Crielaard Amazing stuff! Seeing that little part of Soesterberg on the Leusderheide map makes me very happy! Being born and raised there after all Also nice to see the Vlasakkers! I'll be waiting for this! And help in any way possible if you need it
  12. Clogs, Bicycles and Windmills are something we definitely wont leave out!
  13. Hello again! Thanks for all the likes and comments so far! It really means alot to see so much support for this project. Below some pictures of the NBS. The NBS were ex- resistance fighters whom were turned into an interior fighting force when parts of the country got liberated in 1944. Equipped by the allies the NBS was tasked with helping out the allied forces in any way possible and carry out arrests in the name of the fatherland. These awesome shots were made by Zhivets and feature a sten gun from Faces Of War (We will eventually have our own)

  17. This terrain has ceased developement and will NOT be developed any further, Thank you for understanding. Hey ya'll.. So i dont really know how these forums work and all because i'm kinda new here. But anyway.. I'm here to present an addon wich is currently in the making named the "Lowlandz Project". Currently it's not much. Just a small developement team with some good ideas. We're currently a team of four but most of us are working on sideprojects. We kinda want to focus on this being our main project again so we decided to just announce our work so far. -Current Team- [LL] JMR - Map Design & Terrain Builder [LL] The_Fake_German - Map Design [LL] Siem - Map Design & Regional Information [LL] Justin - Configuration & Blender works Here's an older video of a flyby. It doesn't show much. Just some northern islands we call "The Waddenzee" (The plane is a P-3C Orion ported over from the Dutch Armed Forces mod for Arma2 and it won't be included) And here's an older screenshot of the southern region of the map. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/477771277028294778/38ACBC77F854CA1E9E05688186FCB7E95A82ED7C/ Well that's about it. Just wanted to let you guy's know what we're working on. P.S. I really dont know how the Bohemia forum's work. So if i messed up im sorry
  18. Hey All. Sorry for not updating this thread in a long time. Both me and JMR/ Root have been focussing on other stuff. As has been decided sometime ago that this project is not going to continue We came far.. but as with any project the lack of time was just too big for us in terms of object placement. Terrain building also lost it's fun parts for me and just started feeling like a burden other than a hobby. Thanks to all those interested and those who helped me in terms of knowledge & object placement. All progress on custom assets for this terrain will be merged into a different project. (Not yet revealed but also something worthwhile for people interested in the Netherlands during WW2 ) This thread can be locked for further replies since it wont be updated any further.. Cheers, Justin

    Faces of War [WW2]

JU-52 was handed to IronFrontCampaigns at the time by one of our members. Not knowing that he faked his permissions we uploaded it to our list. He later confessed that he took it from WOG (i dont even know if WOG has permissions) We swiftly took it down after we got word of this.. I can go more in debt on that situation but i feel like the JU-52 discussion on here is already rather off topic.

    September'39 @ Arma 3

Hai there to all. As an addition to the post by our project lead i would like to provide you all with the link to our official discord channel.. This thread will be kept up to date on progress but if you want to follow us close by our discord is the place for you to be September 1939 Discord: Discord Cheers, Justin N.
  21. Hey there everybody!, Here's a little status update on the current situation. Since there are alot of things we're planning to do and also a few competitors doing the same thing we've decided to put main focus on a WW2 map. We're currently also working with Veterani.pl on a reboot of the September 1939 mod. There has been talk about including dutch unit's in this mod but we're still concidering.. For now i'm sorry to tell you that we're dropping the modern day map concept. Lowlands Warrior is also working on a dutch map so keep eye on their progress if you were interested. Like i said we're moving forward with the WW2 map and September 1939. This thread will be kept up to date on progress. Thank you to those who supported us, And to those who still support us after this decision. Cheers, Justin N.
  22. Thanks for the interest, I also love the DAF mod. Too bad it would be hard to re- create such a thing since most of the content used aint aviable in Arma 3.. (Yet).
  23. Well, The quality aint good enough for a public release.. no satmap or advanced buildings etc. It's kina like our notepad. We test stuff on it and learn our way around terrain builder. Maybe one day if there's enough interest i'll pop it on the workshop. But for now that aint on our minds.. I can provide some screenshots tho http://imgur.com/a/ZWTue
  24. Hey everybody!, Sorry for the recent radio silence. We've been working on some side- projects. I do want to report that our map is still in developement. We've got some new people onto our team helping us with certain issues. We've also made a little test WW2 map (Monte Cassino) to see what we can do to create a WW2 style map with just CUP core and some custom assets. The results for the WW2 style with just CUP Core are actually quite good. We're now ready to get the new team back on the initial project.. WW2 style and Modern style Netherlands Maps. We're also in contact with someone about a special project, But you'll (hopefully) hear more about that soon.
