People dwell in the past so much. Let the devs have some artistic freedom, I can only imagine how painful it is to model the same old A10 over and over again. It's still in the end, only a game not a full on simulator. That said I can not wait to for Shikra, especially the blue color is just awesome. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for sonic boom simulation.

Oh man! I'm not the only one having this. I've been trying to resize HUD elements like GPS and the secondary screen (don't remember it's name). I also noticed I couldn't change my HUD colour or HUD element placement anymore -

Lower your weapon before going back to VA? For me the character always stays in the same position I leave it. -
For me Endgame didn't hit the spot. - There is AI mixed in. - There is no good use of combined arms. - 3 factions and one of them is AI controlled. - Sniper scopes. - The game modes pacing got boring. Especially with the AI - Overall uninteresting mission / scenario. Noted that the gamemode I play still has these same issues, but it has good focus on combined arms. And makes good use map size.

One thing I noted that there is option for "toggle raise weapon" and just "raise weapon". I expected the latter to behave as hold-action, instead I still haven't figured out what it's supposed to do. It works almost as if it was toggle and hold in the same key. I always hoped it would work like weapon switching, without interruptions or stops.

While the video is unrelated to the topic, I'm still amazed how can one be so negative about that "<insert generic third person console shooter>-like movement". And I've seen many similiar comments. I just don't see anything to nag about. Movement is smoother, raising and lowering weapon actually work etc. If that movement had Arma 3:s stances and all what would be so horrible about it? Holy damn, If rasing and lowering weapon worked like that in A3, I'd be amazed. Current system is a mess. Even the current system in DayZ SA is miles ahead.

Raising weapon is still bonkers. I tried strafing right and kept tapping "toggle raise weapon" and noticed I kept strafing without any keypress until I pressed "step over".

Awesome weapon, but the recently changed 5.56mm suppressor model would probably fit it better than the old one ;) -

AFAIK you lose health when a minigun fires around you without direct hits. Not sure, needs testing, I think I am derailing the topic.

The video example is pretty much the same what we have now? Except he can't lock on to targets without acquiring the target first.

As far as I remember, buckshot simulation was the reason why shotguns got scrapped.

The guy has a point I see, only the language is hard to understand. I also don't like how much bibods restrict aim, especially when deploying throws aim off completely.

The zoom value changed some time ago. I remember having less zoom with naked eye and holosights, now holosights zoom level is quite close to all 3D combat optics. I'd reduce naked eye level zoom almost 50%, if it was up to me of course.

EUTW Warfare. Good performance,almost no AI, varied gameplay. Plus there is tons of assets and map layouts.

You can bind "switch gunner" or something like that, pressing it switches you to commander/gunner seat and between them (so we need switch to driver seat or just switch seats key)

Finally got good screencap- Second picture also shows some bizarre bug during hit animation as my weapon is pointing at myself briefly. Note that GPS position is kinda odd

This statement is out of this world. There has never been a single moment in Arma 3 where a handgun is superior to any assault rifle. In reality all machine guns are superior in CQB Arma 3. To a point where it is just stupid. -
While I appreciate direction indicator, it's UI element is overly large (as is other UI elememts also)

Well it's not like the developers would absolutely need to have silly hats and pink weapons. :lol: Arma 3 assets already have ton a of usable assets.

Very long time FPS player here, just my two cents. -When hit, player movement should slow down (For example, briefly play injured animation when being hit). -Zig zagging needs to die. Same for superstrafing. The best option to shoot behind cover should be peeking out, not strafing out 100km/h, while changing directions. -While sprinting, strafing left and right should reduce speed. Same slowdown should happend when trying to change directions (zigzagging with mouse). -The UI is too large and obstructive. I suggest to keeping it minimal. -FOV should be higher. E: I have to mention that my wishes may clash with BI's vision as I like my FPS games as hardcore as possible. I also wish we could customize our characters and weapons before entering lobby. One thing that bugged me was lack of jogging. It feels weird to sprint around instead of consolidating my stamina. Getting rid of A3 default settings like mouse smoothing and headbob would probably be nice for newer players. E: As we have GPS and compass, have them as constantly visible HUD elements.
