Hello,

more and more vehicles in ArmA II or Operation Arrowhead are becoming modern, so why don't keep up with the development?

I think that when you crash your vehicle to the extent, that it is not able to move (like blowing tires out), an animated airbag should come out and limit the passengers damage to health.

I think that it is possible.

It would add a lot to the atmosphere + would be realistic, so why don't just go for it

Yeah, I agree. And I want cruise control, simulated airco (so more stamina in a vehicle with airco), and also warning indicators when driving backwards or parking the car so I dont hit anything anymore. Most times right now after a km drive my car is like it came from the scrap yard.

Yeah, and for vehicles where they are hard to place, like i.e. the passengers in a Hercules, they could put them *under* the seats to limit the effect of a crashlanding... For vehicles like a stryker, they could be put outside the vehicle to flip it back on its wheel in the event of a flipover.

This sure seems like a valid suggestion...

Lets ignore the remaining limitations to the damage, physics, turret and weapons systems, and concentrate on implementing airbags for civilian cars! (note that NO military vehicle you see in ArmA2 or arrowhead is fitted with airbags in real life)

You should also be able to recline your seat, so you can hide from the bad guys!

Actually, if done properly this is quite cool.

The Enemy Engaged series had this, and while it wasnt vitally important, it was pretty cool how the visability gets restricted in the rain.

We also need to make sure that all the vehicle lights work as well like the indicators brake lights other wise youll be pulled over by the local cops and make sure you carry your license and registration. OH and hide the weed.

Hm, but I think it could be implemented fairly easy for the civilian vehicles.

That when the damage model kicks in (with damage hide etc.) an airbag model

appears at the steering wheel.

Not the most important suggestion though.
