Yoma 0 Posted July 25, 2010 I don't quite get you, and I have already placed the correct directory in the right box. Do you have both AO and Arma2? Are both paths configured? If you don't have Arma2 but only AO, did you untick the "Arma2 is installed on this pc" box? Are you using a repository that is meant for OA? If you can't get it sorted you can always try sixupdater. Tobo 10 Posted July 26, 2010 I just dont get it! sorry to sound fed up but i am. I have been trying to get the stable 1.3 version of ace working for weeks now and it just wont. I have tried the six updater way and ive tried downloading the files and useing the ;@mod way but still i cant connect to servers running ace 2. I know that if it says i have a file deleted then that means im missing something and this is the case ALWAYS with six updater. Am i doing this wrong? If i dont use six updater and try to join a server it just connects and then disconnects. If anyone can explain this to me i'd be so happy. blackpulpit 10 Posted July 26, 2010 Arma2 OA combined with Ace works good except when online in a server, I constantly get the timed out thing were it says no such and such for x amount of seconds and then it crashes to desktop, any ideas why it does this online only with ACE? Two Dogs 12 Posted July 26, 2010 Are you running CO through Steam? If so don't. Find your Arma .exe in the Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 and copy and past it to your desktop. So there should be no problem running "@CBA" for A2 standalone,too (I must say that I'm no longer @A2 standalone because I've switched over to CO completely, so this may be wrong, but just for the logic of it it should work). Is there someone who knows better ? EDIT: ahh, you play OA standalone ? then you should use CBA_OA, I guess ... now I'm confused, too, again ... just started six updater and this shows up: @CBA 116 116 Info Changes Yes Arma2 (why not "Arma2OA" ?) Whatever I don't even know what happened, I just ran the six updater for ACE OA, it gave the 'Mod is tagged disabled in the configuration file' error. Did a bunch of downloading and updating and launched OA at the end with the ACE mod. Ok I will try this out, I just don't like the super low pitch I get changed to after I equip the Gas-mask (Or Balaclava, ect), It sounds like Slow Motion lol. I've enabled ACE wound system, and used the interact menu to try to load a body into a humvee medevac. No luck. the body just flops around and refuses to go in.
