Mission description: As Delta Force and a Helo Team your job is to hunt down insurgents in Takistan.

Mission Time: Around 60 min, maybe more.

Mission Version: 0.92 (public beta)

Parameters: Yes (in MP - daytime and view distance option)

Time: Dawn in SP, varies in MP

Weather: Good.

Important: In MP, pick primary and secondary player units first. This mission can be quite hard to master in SP, but it works perfectly if you are an experienced player. Keep your cool and make sure how to use teamSwitch and how to lead your units. Helo training is also useful. Read the briefing carefully.

Missionwork: My first mission in OA. The tasks are quite randomized which should hopefully make replay value high. The mission design really makes the new FLIR effect important. I hope I have achieved some realistic feel, but mostly a good atmosphere. Custom sounds, dialogue and scripts.

Tried the mission yesterday in MP, hosted game, and once more as a single player. No bugs encountered (at least nothing that I noticed). The helicopter script that keeps the chopper stable while switching to gunner position was a nice addition to the game. I fear however, that the Apache packs too much punch. The chopper could easily sweep all the insurgent camps clean, without aid from the infantry teams.

0.92 is not that much different, just better edited.

I'm still waiting for feedback regarding any wanted changes.

Please do not dig up old threads if you don't have anything significant to post. Glad you like his mission but you could have told him in PM instead of going necro.

Threads older than 4 months should not be dug up unless something significant is being added. If in doubt as to what is "significant", contact a moderator and they will give you their opinion. As always old threads will remain open or be closed at the moderator's discretion. Digging up an old thread simply to ask "any news" is also not acceptable, PM the thread starter or mod leader to ask.
