OA multicam reskins - Getting MC right.

yeah if you look at the pics I posted you see how the green browns tans are dominant not the off white, so its still there just less

i think ill just post it here so i can get even more feedback.

the units use ACRs, maybe temporary.. maybe for separate config.. replacement will use SCARS. ACE? maybe their M4s...

Wow you've done such a wonderful job with this and thank you so much it's almost right there as far as I'm concerned, however, just two small complaints

just to repeat what I said earlier, the off white is still too prominent, I think it might be the engine, so you need to tone it down, and make sure the other colors are way more prominent.

Also when you beta do you mind just using the regular SCARs with OA, for some reason the RH scars keep giving me errors? dunno whats going on.

Had a quick look and some feedback,

Pockets on the arms are still UCP.

Inside peice of cordura on of one of the accessories pouches is still in UCP, while the outside is MC.

There's a big seem down the front of the groin armour.

There's lots of places where details have been overlayed with MC and ignored, velcro etc.

Lots of places where the MC pattern should not continue through, seams and pockets etc on the shirt usually mean two bits of fabric where there should be non-matching camo meeting. One of the more obvious ones is the MOLLE columns, they shouldn't match with the pattern that is underneath them, as it's a seperate bit of material and has an extremely low chance of matching with MC.

Also, a similar glitch in texture to the groin pad on the top of the helmet, sorry no pic but tis there!

thanks a lot everyone. I'll be workin hard on solving these issues.

especially sabre,

i think the main thing is I used the normal map for the blending for most things, so I missed out things like that.

as for the groin pad etc, I made my tex seamless so it's just a matter of re-doing it.

right now im just figuring out how to port some A1 guys, but I'll work on the us army guys soon.. I got a lot on my plate :)

started working on what sabre pointed out. thanks content aware for saving me a few minutes :D (with the groinpad seams..)

-new vest looks good. but i think the patch areas on the arms should be swtiched up to the dark tan it is.

re-did the mc on the vest etc. new higher res one..

here's the newest beta. improved and tried to fix some things that sabre pointed out, as well as the higher res mc applied... wound config stuff is now in...... camo is more efficient, tuned down "visibility" to ai since they're wearing supa dupa multicam..

also added some pouches..

if all goes well in the next few days, will be doing ACE configs, and OA SCAR configs.
