Heh i cant find that digi camo :p - guys try to find it too

btw i found one site , where are showing very nice and special camos on guns - just check it out - shame they dont have any good pic to create a texture :(

It's no 'specific pattern', it's just a digital paint job, in shitty colours aswell :D

RH, are you going to fix the magazine mishaps in your packs ? (example: the M16a1GL who has a 100 round magazine in it ? or guns showing a drum box and only having 30 rounds in it ?)

Finally some wip for you guys lol :D

Its showing - bis M240B with proper heat shield , new Mk46s , reworked M249 with proper barrel and the Mk48 with proper gas regulator

atm alot stuff is being optimized (mean sections thing) etc

I hope i will be able to finish the new update of smg pack and the new pack /guess what is it - i can say its not G36/G3s :p /

could you possibly make it so these are compatible with soundmods? i would love to use these with an amazing soundmod :D

hey man once again great work!!

we definitely need more of those high quality textures and personifications like this "S.9" this really enhances the game atmosphere

Excellent work! A few tips about the Mk46/Mk48 as I've been modeling some for a project and I now know way too much about em :rolleyes: .

The front top rail (on top of that...thing, I guess hand-guard that sticks up) needs to look a bit more like the one on the receiver, as they are, you couldn't mount anything on the RIS "bumps" because they aren't elevated off the surface. They also have a bit of a curved cut out length wise so they don't obscure the sights:

Can see it on the RIS here sort of. This picture also shows a few other things.

Check out the flash suppressor. It's different from the M249 set up and threaded for a suppressor (both the Mk46/Mk48 can be suppressed and that would be a neat feature).

Also check out the gas block and different bipod from the M249 under the barrel.

One other thing is that the Mk46 Mod 0 doesn't have a vented handguard (right now they're textured on as black circles, easy fix if you want to).

As for the Mk48, the lower hand guard holes seem a bit small, should just be the size of the ones on the Mk46.

One last thing is stocks, from what I understand fixed stocks like those are rare, especially for SOF. Para or M5 stocks are much, much more common.

as you can see a SpectorDR rather than an M145 would probably fit well on the Mk46/Mk48. Could use some lasers/vertical grips too.

But yeah great work, sorry to go on a bit of a reference rant.

I actually wanted to mention/request some suppressed versions of the mk46/48, but i figured too many people would just laugh.

All those little details Ryujin posted about would be sweet to see, especially the proper butt stocks. I know you mentioned earlier that you dont have a model of that butt stock laying around anywhere though. It would be nice if somebody that had one, or could build one would donate it.

Suppressors I have seen, on 46's anyways.

The round count for suppressors is low, so I wouldn't typically recommend it, but in this case, why not! It's a game, and DoD isn't paying for it :p

I was a Mk-48 gunner for a year and a half, some of the details are rusty, but if you need any help let me know.

One thing I will tell you, we had fixed stocks on the 48's. 46's, not so much.

Hmm... watching Sons of Guns made me think a couple unique additions could be entered, maybe an idea for a possible 'PMC' styled pack with non-Standard Issue style weapons, such as a suppressed Saiga shotgun or an internally suppressed AK47, which are both real (Now hehe) due to a weapons shop on request.

I can get a hold to links to the episodes they're made in if you think the idea would be interesting. Can be a little addition to the PMC style that the DLC added in. Maybe could go hand in hand with the AA-12, that is, if you do it ^^

Perfect pictures. I'll get on it this evening. You are going to texture it correct? If so, what size do you want the UV map? Also, I've never modeled for Arma, so will obj. be ok, and should the model be 'smooth'? Do I have a poly count limit?

The part where the Xs are, and the rubber butt grip marks, with that be done with normal map or do you want it modeled that way? Sorry for so many questions! :D

Oh that adapter , thx for telling me that - easy fix ;)

Optics will be Acog with doctor and Elcan M145 - other probably no ,because aimpoint and eotech on the LMG are not that much useful

About collapse able stock - i have one on Para versions

Hi robert! :)

To satisfy everybody can you put the normal aimpoint on the para version?? if you want also on the other MK versions.

For example the Italian SF use a lot the aimpoint on LMG... see these
