wolf[173rd] 10 Posted June 9, 2010 Are we still going to be bothered to download two files everytime you "update"? That gets annoying because resetting is starting to become an everyday thing. Not trying to be an ass, of course.
Jack 0 Posted June 9, 2010 Here's the part of the server.rpt. containing the version mismatch.I've checked every file in my server's ace, acex and cba folders and they are 100% identical to my local folders (which is build 366). I cant use six-updater to update my server, so I use Smartftp/filezilla. ===================================================================== == Did you upload the files as a compressed archive (zip etc.) or as a regular file (as downloaded)?
l mandrake 9 Posted June 9, 2010 (edited) yeah server is stopped. files uploaded as regular files using smartftp, using 'visual compare' to skip any unchanged files (saves time). Starting think this may be the problem - anyone know which file decides the current Ace version? Edited June 9, 2010 by Mandrake5
Jack 0 Posted June 9, 2010 Well I would zip up CBA first since its so small and upload it that way. Then unzip it once its on your box and check again.

kroky 1 Posted June 10, 2010 I would like to highlight the work of tpm lately. He's done a really great job by improving the weapons, movements and sonic crack sounds! It really enhances firefights greatly. Still I think the TRSM sound modules for tracked, wheeled and air vehicles are the best. That's why I combine them. Any plan to include TRSM in ACEX_SM? oldbear 390 Posted June 10, 2010 Having all the file on our .ftp has been a longer process than expected ^^ So after having the new front paged with Multiupload links 2 days ago, ... here are the links to mirrors on Armed Assault.info CBA: Community Base Addons (v 0.4.1.102) : http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?game=1&cat=addons&id=1002 ACE : Core (v 1.2) : http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?game=1&cat=addons&id=1302 ACEX: eXtras (v 1.2) : http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?game=1&cat=addons&id=1303 ACEX_SM (v 1.2) : http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?game=1&cat=addons&id=1304
Alex72 1 Posted June 10, 2010 Just got time to test the latest ACE. What a great piece of work it is. :) Big thanks also to tpM for getting tons of immersion in the latest ACE_SM. The metal clinks here and there while moving, bullet cracks and impacts they all add to a very intense experience. Sounded very real when i did a mission. Great work guys. tpM 478 Posted June 10, 2010 Thanks, but the movement sounds are made by Fromz. :)
Alex72 1 Posted June 10, 2010 Ok, well they rock. :) BTW did you change engine sounds etc? Noticed the LAV doesnt use TRSM (i think) and i basically only started to think of it as there is no engine turn off sound. It just cut out abrubtly and i think it wasnt like that with TRSM. Anyway im in it right now testing things out and i just noticed this. Very happy with it. ;)

stilpu 0 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) No userconfig bundled with ACE 1.2? Downloaded all the packs for a clean install and it won't start since the config's missing. Edit: Nevermind, it was in the Store folder. Guess I should read the readme next time... got too used to unpacking & adding mods to command line. jackthe®ipper 10 Posted June 11, 2010 Hi, whenever I jump into a mission, some yellow text comes up and informes me that my userconfig clientside is out dated. I've updated everything with the six updater. When i go to userconfig there are 2 folders: One says just ACE, and the other says ACE_1260416404. Do i need to delete one?
