Don't worry Sky999, lets focus on mil-sim instead of scifi ;) although I admit, both can be fun in A2 ;)

this cloacking thing isnt a big concern for me, but green blood is or maybe some other color. ;)

The AT4 has been in the Lingor arsenal since the 1980s. In 2009 it was reported that AT4 weapons sold to Lingor had been captured from Rebell insurgents in The South.

(the real story is: The AT4 has been in the Venezuelan arsenal since the

1980s. In 2009 it was reported that AT4 weapons sold to Venezuela had been captured from FARC insurgents in Colombia, leading Colombia to accuse Venezuela of selling the weapons to the insurgents, and heightening tensions between the two countries.) what do you think about that ;)

Aeroporto Peligron

Aeroporto Peligron is famous for its position high in mountains of Island Lingor and even expert pilots are afraid to land and/or takeoff from there. Both end of runway are accompanied by cliffs so there's no place for any errors. If passengers eventually get there they are ready for another adrenaline ride with a small van down the steep road. This airport is suitable for An-2 and smaller planes, but we also saw couple of military hotshots land there with their agile fighter planes, too. In the last months rebels are controlling it so we can expect a large scale government army operation up there...

Oh my lawdy, this map will probably be great for some "Clear and Present Danger" type missions! (its liek the best movies EVER, go watch it if you havent seen it!)

Sky999: I've recieved no help with cloaking/model/etc. of slayer unit so far

Unfortunately i cannot offer any direct help, but i remember some addons with 'cloak technology' from OFP.

One of them being Warhammer 40k with (afair) Tau units sporting this nifty seethrough armor:

and the other one is Ksatryia's Predator Addon.

Theres also ninja addon from ingenious scripter Itweas, there you can find the best climbing and jumping options in OFP/ArmA to date ... but seeing that all his addons were made by some kind of black magic this would surely be a harder nut to crack than the cloaking stuff which seems to rely on modelling only.

An efficient cloak-armor could be done with hidden selections and SetObjecttexture. But in order to apply those hidden selections you'd need to alter the unit models.

heh, glad you like it even though i only pointed my finger :D

Contacts i cannot serve with, never personally knew these guys.

Maybe Cervo or Placebo might be able to find some sort of email adress or icq# ..

Oh... my... lord... IceBreakr, you are of gods in the ArmA2 community! I can see it now... TF86 seal teams going in to clear up some of the 'Rebels (Or what have you)' in a village... and they run into the Slayer :O SOOO not a Predator remake in ArmA2 form >_> (Though that would be epic). Can't wait to have a rumble in the jungle though! >:D Will be epic... "Charlies at the wire!" Hehehe

Also! >_> The M60... why does everyone want a new M60 when theres one in game XO Hehe, also with the M14. RH does have like, 20 or so versions of the M14. Be it M21, Mk14, M39. His M14 pack also has the M14 naked (Wood, Iron Sights), M14 Aimpoint/Acog/Eotech. *Nods* Might try and ask him to use the M14s? ^_^ Heeee... now! *Vanishes*

Tnx. Current units are already equipped with M60s from Arrowhead.

Both OFP Predator addon makers Ksatryia and SandrodeParma were contacted and they gave me permission to use it for Lingor project. Now I need to figure it all out via configs and fixing oxygen models :)

Another MP test went well, this time with 1.54 patch that pushed FPS over 50+ even in the thickest of the jungles ;) not a single crash with more than 8 hours of coop gaming.

Public beta is not far away. I'm releasing public beta v0.96 in the upcoming week.
