sounds like it to me. i doubt they would put in artillery because it would have to be AI controlled unless you like looking up at the sky and pressing fire

Of course there are lots of people that want pistols so hmm perhaps.

But then loads of people are always starting threads about wanting mortars, and mortars would add a lot more to the game than pistols and would also be very useful in the role of the resistance.

pistols...blah...would be conveinent when you don't think it is very fitting to have civilians grabbing AK-47s out of their personal ammo crates, but might explain what this is

there was a lame little "deploy m2" script (i think, not sure since the damn thing was in german) in BTL that would show up on the action menu, make some pallets that magically went down and turned into a m2, which wasn't fireable because it was probably locked. i think it would be cool to have a mortar set up like that, then have HE or illumination rounds or whatever set up like you change between heat and sabot.

maybe he's just hiding a mortar launcher in that "pistol holster"

i can see it now: your dressed as a civilian,and your talking to a russian officer trying to distact him, while your friend sneaks up besides him and steals his pistols. Then 2 shots to the back, then quickly as the driver gets out of the ammo truck he caps em and then you steal the guns in the back of the truck and make your way back to the camp via motorcycle.
