automotive, yes, industrial, hardly.

pollution industrial complexes are now in decline in LA county AFAIK. but we have first and third busiest intersection in U.S.

First one is in downtown los angeles, third is near UCLA.

but we do have great combination of sun, beaches, girls, implants, different cultures, and intellectuals(ok...just a little bit) biggrin.gifsmile.gif

The world's (not US's!wink.gif busiest intersection used to be the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

I'm not sure if that is still the case though, but it held that unfortunate distinction when I lived a mile from the intersection on Wilshire Boulevard about ten years ago. Wilshire Boulevard in front of my house had eight lanes, and it is just a damn city street!

I guess with 8 lanes, if you want to jay-walk, you got to get in a car and ride arcross biggrin.gif

I saw a thing on Dateline a few months back (last year) and they were saying all the most dangerous intersections in America acording to insurence claims. Man, some of these intersections should just be revamped into over/under passes, with the amount of cars that pass by, and the poor traffic lights, I'm staying clear of these intersections.

It was AFTER september 11 and the kid was 15 years old.
