MichaelGER 10 Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) Hello is there any way I can check which addons (folders) are running on a server? except the arma2server.rpt. And without additional tools like AddonSync. Just with http or ftp protocol. Edited May 20, 2010 by MichaelGER
sickboy 13 Posted May 20, 2010 You can with an UDP socket to the server's gamespy query port. Tools like gslist do this very well for you: http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers.htm#gslist I am fetching all this information over at my updater portal too: http://updater.dev-heaven.net/queryservers the mods column only contains mods that are also available on the updater. You see the full -mod= line when you click 'show'.

JCarter 10 Posted May 20, 2010 @Sickboy: You don't, by chance, offer that info as an xml feed do you? Maybe gslist would be the best way to go for that?
sickboy 13 Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) There's some JSON interaction possible, however it is quite much data :) There's also an RSS feed for the Mods. Recommended to use gslist. The same browsability, filterability and searchability as seen on the linked site, is also available in the Six Updater Suite that you can install locally.
