How to make certain aircraft start in auto-hover mode.

How does one make certain aircraft with VTOL/STOL capabilities, such as the Harrier and Osprey, start the mission in-flight with their "auto-hover" mode engaged? :confused:

Place some object on the ground anywhere, tiny objects won't work. Try with an empty vehicle and name it.

place the aircraft on the map flying and in it's init type

nameofplane  attachto [nameoftruck) 

the plane will be in hover mode.

To set it free place

detach nameofplane 

in a trigger

The reel command is

nameofplane action ["autohover",nameofplane]

but does very little from what I can see

thanks worked for me OA BAF Apache

(but you put the truck in front of heli two-ish truck lengths. If not the heli flys straight off.)

Next step, I want to stop AI flying off towards enemy when I sees it. Dont like how Apaches in game fly around and around over enemy heads. I'm sure they dont behave like that in real like. Plus annoying as gunner.
