Can I activate my retail ArmA II on Steam?

Title says it all, I want my ArmA II to be on my Steam games, not just the shortcut though. So if my ArmA II disc ever breaks I can just download it off Steam, thanks. :)

No the different published versions cannot be linked together like that.

Latest patch means you don't need the disk in the drive so why not just store your disk in a safe place ?

Ah, I didn't even realize I didn't need the disc, I assumed it was still in my drive when I was playing it before, then I opened it and my Dragonage disc was in there, thanks for the help guys.

People pick on me because of my name all the time on here haha, it was from when I had just came from CoD onto ArmA II and thought I was a smartass so I created my account in that name, I think CoD does things to your brain, hate that game. ;)
