Sif 10 Posted October 23, 2011 fancy new wip. script writing for time of day detection tomorrow. this is one model, when the certain said time of night is reached the nvgs will go into the down position. when it's day time, they stay in the up position. oh, and whoever can guess that combat patch, get's a cookie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20th_Engineer_Brigade_(United_States)
W0lle 1050 Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) oh, and whoever can guess that combat patch, get's a cookie. 20th Engineer Brigade, US Army Somehow I knew it's an Engineer one... Wasn't really that hard, now gimme my cookie! Damn you sif! No cookie for me now and it's your fault! Edited October 23, 2011 by W0lle
Laqueesha 474 Posted October 26, 2011 Oh, I almost forgot about those 2007 guys. The UCP texture looks great. Is the NVG "up" model considered to be a pair of glasses by the game? Or is it part of the helmet model that switches when the script is activated?

sabre 244 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) I'd change the armour cover from an SPC. That lower part of the shirt I changed on the USMC version is reverted back to being cam aswell. Edited January 10, 2012 by Sabre

Laqueesha 474 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) Just an FYI, we don't have any combat troops in Iraq anymore. Mostly embassy guards iirc. I know, but the video was taken late last year, around fall/autumn 2011, so it's a fairly recent representation of some 82nd Airborne soldiers. The remainder of U.S. military in Iraq are mainly Marine Security Guards, tasked with embassy protection, like you said. Nice pics, BTW. not to be a douche but how is this relevant here? Laqueesha 474 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) Cool pictures, and that video was pretty cool. Good quality, and I love the 82nd. No problem, thanks. The 82nd rocks. It was almost like an episode of COPS, just in Iraq. ;) Edited February 10, 2012 by Laqueesha

scarecrow398 43 Posted November 4, 2012 Or less acronyms ;) TBAS, is Tierd Body Armor System, the body armor used by the Australian Army, SORD is... well SORD, its a company based out of Australia that sells plate carriers, webbing, vest, ect, at a pretty high quality from what i heard (Heavy Cordura and Triple stitched) pretty popular with Australian SF with plate carriers while the pouches and such are popular both with the Aus Army and internationally.
