Need help with adjusting sites for sniper rifle

Here is what i do. i use ACE . When i take a sniper rifle and a nite bino to measure presize range. Than i bring up the range card with shift-v and enter the range and windage. But it ALLWAYS fals short somehow. I dont understand what i,m doing wrong. Can someone help?

This is probably better asked in the actual ace topic. At what range and with what weapon are you using to snipe with? Even with precise range and windage (which is difficult cause the wind shifts in the game quite a lot), at certain ranges you'll be hard pressed to hit your target if you don't have a rifle that can actually reach out and touch someone at said distances.
