Does changing the priority of ArmA 2 to "High" or "Realtime" in Windows Task Manager improve the game's overall performance?

I use it when I'm recording game-footage with fraps (I put my games to high priority), along with gamebooster 1.4 (freeware which shuts down useless background applications) it works a treat!

It sure does help me.

On high I can get an increase of about 4 fps.

However when I put it on realtime my frame rate drops like a stone.

Anyway, yes it does help.
