Looks really cool, proof that a good game doesn't need good graphics, just high FPS and detailed environments, good find :)

Take this concept, add high-resolution models and impressive lighting, and you've got yourself a recipe for success. :D

Hi all

Would not work in large environments or MP :(

As it points out in the text

"only the portions that are immediatley needed are physicalised for collision detection and responce"

By the way ArmA already does all this in single player. The videos of it being done (in ArmA I and VBS1 ) were published about 5 years ago.

The problem is this does not work in MP or with the entity counts in ArmA it causes an exponetial increase in load on network code and sychronising it is a major cause of Desych and lag. you can get away with a small amount of it in MP if numbers of players in small and you only do it to one or two buildings at a time.

The concept has discussed many times in these forums.
