Missions that don't require any mods

So I've finished the campaign, unlocked everything in the armory and so on, and I'm considering trying out some of the user made missions.

However, I'm not too interested in having to download three to five mods to run a mission. I just recently downloaded the ACE2 mod to see what all the fuss is about, and that alone will probably take me some months to get used to.

So I wonder, does anyone here who perhaps has a better overview on the different user made missions than I do know of any missions that don't require any mods? Missions whose only required mod is ACE2 is also accepted, although I would prefer the former.

Best you go to Armaholic and scour the files over there.

Lots of missions that don't need addons.............but..............at times addons can be your best friend.

I know some folks reading my reply will disagree but I have found some minor addons that were D/F (my own lingo meaning......Drop and Forget) into the Addon folder in the main directory that do not conflict with other mods out there.

Example mods for:

NV goggles.........

Islands

Weapons

From my experience so far, no conflicts or crashes.

Also, get yourself a launcher. Some good launchers out there that will take all the fuss out of all those addons and mods.

At the moment, I am using DOW. Seems to be holding up just fine!

It helps a ton! Thanks! I got the six launcher, but I'm kinda confused as to how one uses it properly, all I have done with it so far is install ACE2.

As for armaholic, good thing you mentioned that site because although I have been on it briefly through a link or two on this forum, it didn't come to mind and I had no idea there were user made missions published there as well.

As for launchers, as I said, I use DOW at the moment.

You can make profiles for specific missions with the necessary addons....very simple

From what I have seen here, the modders are linking their missions to Armaholic and other sites.

Armaholic has a sh#t load of SP missions, Campaigns, Utilities, Maps and so forth........have fun!

Check out the OFPEC Beta Testing boards - lots of the missions offered up for beta-testing there require no addons :) While you're at it you can check out the finished missions as well in the Missions Depot!

If you enjoy this game, you should really get use to addons. Any Arma vet knows what I'm talking about.
