This island wip looks good but somehow there are too many edges and bumps for proper AI driving. Guess among others a "road-network-smoothing for AI" tool/feature could be implemented in Visitor. Dreaming of a MadMax campaign or was is MadIceBreakr? :D

I've released new version v0.95:

- updated ground/satellite textures

- altered heights of mountains (not 100% done yet)

- terrain improvement (more altitude variations)

- added gas pumps, factory complex, two villages

- added old prison

- various bugfixes

Units have been updated to v0.96, too. New version brings:

- a Raider car identical to MFP one (repainted, stolen from MFP)

- more slots for weapons/magazines/equipment

Thanks for the update Ice.

Disregard earlier check about FPS. Had armaholic site up in the background wich suck CPU when it updates the site wich was noticed in the game. :)

Ok great. Hopefully I'll finish up JadeWars mission this weekend. Its the "heart" of this map ;)

p.s. any map ideas and suggestions for upcoming v1.0 -> to my PM!

Ice any chance you can get that ramp a bit smoother, I figured a car needs to be doing at least 125 to make the jump, but the vehicles bleed off so much speed when they first hit the ramp.

I will re-do that jump. Ramp is also way too big.

I tried the ramp earlier, but with the raider and interceptor, i made the jump going south to north, but north to south i always fell short cause the car bled to much speed.

Its a nice map man, doesnt come close to duala tho :-D

Mission? Probably tommorow... still bug fixing and balancing :)

I'll also release v1.0 as I'm leaving for a vacation this Wednesday. Hopefully I'll get some constructive critics when I get back (next week).

Hey mate - looking really good BTW.

Sorry I have been out of action for a while as needed some work done to my arm in Hospital.

Well news on the Sigma Pack as I'm sure your wanting it to go with this. I am sure we are 99% done on it. It was a much bigger job than we 1st anticipated as there was many old style texture flags and RVMATS that all needed re-saving in text viewer 2 and recreating RVMATS to the new ARMA 2 style.

I have kept his engine sound as original as I can, with a sound editing tool making it have a nice start up sound that matches and making the acceleration sound, low, Idle and fast.

Then came adding all the lods as the majority of them only had the one, which uses up allot of memory with a few on the map as some distance.

I believe all we have left is the distant shadow LOD and a script that will make the police cars have sirens and lights.

I will keep you posted and keep up the good work on this map.

Thats great l3luevein! I'll be releasing v0.99 of Units today and we'll wait 'til you polish these Sigma-6 outstanding vehicles to A2 state :)

btw: ANZACSAS Steve & Sgt.Elias helped me out with new sounds and stuff, be sure to check the car in few hours.

- various optimizations, new textures

- smoothed out roads

- added mountain pass road on NE with new settlement on top

- added new sector South with settlement, compound and couple of farms

- added garbage/salvage camps

- added two "camping" places for base/camp placement

MFP Raiders v0.99

- added CSJ's gyrocopters to island units pack (along with MFP, Raiders & Plymouth Roadrunner car)!

- improved Raider Leader texture skin (leather belt)

- upgraded sounds for Roadrunner car (tnx to ANZACSAS Steve)

- included Gyrocopters (tnx to CSJ)

Island Mission SP/COOP/TVT

Here's a promised mission JadeWars. Mind that it requires ACE2 and Jade Units MFP & Raiders!

Mission can be played as SP/COOP or TVT, as you like!

Hmm...why can't seem to find the Gyrocopters in the Editor?

I definately have the pbo...csj_gyroac.pbo...but I can't find them.
