Just go in your ingame settings.

Search at the end of global list.

My game is in french but you should find that commands.

Show customs commands.

useraction 1 => long range radio

useraction 2 => short range radio

useraction 3 => shout / whisper / yell / talk

I like the TS noise sounds.

One request...

Is it possible to modify the plugin and have TS-Noise like effect, only for TS3, not related to Arma2.

Gotta say this is great, played a few missions with it and it really adds to the game. We did find a bug though. If someone dies and then respawns into the same group his voice will be coming from his corpse and not his new unit.

Other suggestion: Why don't you use the useractions keys in ArmA 2? You have useraction 1 - 20 ;)

We actually didn't test with IA...

It works fine with respawn type camp.

Arma2 multiplayer behaviour is very strange.

I understand this bug...

I'll see what i can do...

edit : It's done !

You can get the new version at the same link, UserAction1 for long range, UserAction2 for short range, and UserAction 3 for switching voice mod.

Thanks to Cyborg112 we changed the commands.

found a few bugs,

1:someone leaves the server, they have to reconnect to TS in order for you to hear them

2:someone from outside the game talks to you, you cant hear anybody else in the channel talking to them (coming from an admins pov this is a small problem)

3: you cant use copy and paste whilst this is running (but you already new that)

otherwise, this mod is amazing!

Excellent job. This solves all our comm problems :)

The only thing i'd miss right now is increasing static noise the further away you are. So that the connection does not suddenly break off at 500m. That would be awesome.

no, there is no server side addons required. and the only thing you need for TS is the actual plugin.

this is all purely client side

Ok great, just making sure. Though if anything the server would need it.

Also the server key and signed file does not work. That needs to be checked.

I love this concept. The only area i'm a bit concerned about is the complications in pure squad comms. Would it be possible to toggle "talking" on and off instead of switching between three different levels of "talking"?

Did you think to use the rpt as a medium instead of copy paste? Hopefully BIS will give us some better I/O functions some time soon...

Also it appears the short range radio is 500meters, after much testing, it would be great if they could be set to 1.5 kilometers or 2 kilometers. This would also be a bit more realistic, but also have balance for use of the long range radio.
