Ok, install error on my part, I fixed that error I had.

But, now I cannot buy infantry in game. I'm next to barracks with money, clicking infantry to by in GUI doesn't do anything.

I'm still not sure. Help installing this please.

@Proman folder contains Addons, Manual, Missions, and server keys folders.

Do I drop the @Proman folder into main directory? Or do I take the sub folders in @Proman out and place them in different locations of main directory?

Also, the Expansions tab in main game screen shows @proman button. Do I have to click and enable that for the mission to work?

I also tried the dedicated server exe. That just brings up a white DOS looking window. I have no idea how to run the game from server.exe.

This is a complicated mission/addon mod you have here. Or maybeI'm just dumb. :yay:

Its just easy as riding a horse in water... ;)

The whole @Proman folder belongs into you arma mainfolder.

Youn dont need to copy all the folders in diffrent places.

Addons = includes all addons you need for the missions

Thats it for the modpart.

The other folders are just to make it easier to find other handy things like

Manual ,Serverkeys. Missions have the latest missions inside. Get them on your Dedicated Server into MPmissions folder.

Now if you want to play it you need a Dedicated Server.

How to make your own server ? You better use the searchfunction of this forum.

If you dont want to do that you need someone else who likes to do it or allready did. ;) there are some Server running this mod like our AngryInsetcs.

Has issue with set flight altitude. Does not work with direct order. Seems to sort of work with making AI set it e.g. F1>(6) > Set flight altitude. Might be just laggy?

Also voices are still coming across all slow.

View distance from air looks good. Thanks :)

Edit: Issue with JIP, but this may be a battle eye update issue

The flight altidue works only after you gave a new pos where your pilot should go. Set flight altidue to 200m then give order to go xy after this your pilot will go up to 200m height and then fly to pos xy.

The slow voices is an engine bug wich will hopefully fixed in the next patch.

Downloaded this and tried on our dedi. Very impressed! It puts a different spin on CTI.

Hey, someone linked me here, cos i like Warfare style play.

One thing whenever people join a new game is the jargon attatched. I cant find anywhere, but what does CRCTI stand for? something capture the island i got... LOL

Yeah! is there any UK TZ groups/clans that would be willing to teach a newbie the finer points?

New Version 22.12.2010

We have overworked the Mod and Mission completly.

Near all vehicles from A2 has got new configs wich make them smooth to OA. Now this crCTI has a much better balance.

We have included some of the best community tweaks

and releases wich fits perfectly.

For example many PvPscene tweaks or Truemods parts. All changes are listed in a pdf file inside the download.Its in german cause iam to lazy to translate it, but most things speaks for themselve...

You will find 12 missions , 6 are ACE ones as the mod works good with ACE.

If you want to play with ACRE you dont need to build it in the Mission its allready done and will start with autodetect.

Download and screens are in the first post wich is updated.

Works since 120 min without prob!

But indeed too laggy here. Maybe because I did it with no dedicated server.

Maybe that's the reason why I couldn't use Hellfires effectively too?

Yep, without a dedicated server it lags as hell and some things wont work.

But feel free to use one of our server if you dont have an own server...

this mission would not load for both chern. and taki. non ace versions. It would kick us all back to mission loading screen.

Pardon my asking, but is it not possible to play this without your selection of mods? I am looking for an alternative to CrCTI that I can play with either vanilla, or ACE, with all of my own mods as I choose. I'm guessing this requires the list of Proman's mods?

No,you can surely play crCTI without Mods.

Btw, the Proman Mod is made for the proman missions, and you can use it with ACE together...

What parts of this (if at all) don't work without a dedicated server? Like, if I host LAN and play on it by myself, will the mission not work?

(Also, if I select, say, 5 towns, how do I get them to be bunched up so it's a group of 5 towns? So it's small like original CrcTI I loved so much).

A dedicated server is needed to get it work well.

The parameter for # of towns is random, means its allways diffrent.

Thats for dont making 50 missions as everybody loves or hates some towns....

I remember the 5Towns mission on everon that days, was a real fun ;)

Aye, good fun it was.

So there's no way to get towns together? If I set to 'all towns', does it do every town on the map? That's one thing I dislike about Warfare - it's too big. I loved getting cozy on the Chernarus CrCTI ;)

EDIT:

Just to confirm - does AI play okay with this? I just saw an MHQ try to attack a town. I assume it wasn't their main one? I've seen AI attack towns with GRADs (Artillery) close-up. Is the AI not checking the vehicles against a 'sensible' list?
