I'm really looking forward to this one guys.

Well if i didn't had a full job and parttime job at the same time, i would help. Sadly there are only 24h in a day (although lately it seams as i'm working the clock around).

What i wanted to say, yes afaik some models were ripped of QG without permission afaik. Several units were released with those parts...but nothing every was done against it. I'm not pointing finguers at anybody, but they should know better.

It shows Nixo91 has a good karma by coming clear about it and even asking advice about it. I'm only saying, keep following your common sense and take the small extra time to remake them yourself. Nobody will point at your then and they might even respect the effort you did.

OK, thanks all for notifying me... Another question :P What kind of Mag pouch do YOU think they should use? I could make a completely new model :D With the ACR Mags in the pouch instead of the m4/m16 ones :P

I made some Open top pouches in 2 minutes :) Are they acceptable?

And about the name... I think I will go with DEA. Not 100% sure yet. Keep the suggestions coming! I am not the best texturer so you will notice difference in the quality of the pouches and the vest.

Looks good mate!!! I like the choice of ACR mags too ;)

DEA is a cool choice, its different than the many various generic "SF" "SOF" "Army SpecOps" that are out there. Plus mission makers can use these units in anyway they want techincally, so in reality the name is just a way to find the units in the editor. Like I said I used units labeled SF Support Group, meaning the guys that cook, clean, and fix things for Special Operations Forces, but I used the units as the main SOF Shooters, and no one could tell the difference ;)

Now I don't want to tell you how to make your model, because its looking pretty awesome thus far, but it would be cool to see some random pouches on different type of units (rifleman having more mag pouches, medics having more utility pouches, and gunners have box mag pouches, etc). Plus some little details like flex cuffs hanging off a d-ring, a radio pouch with an antenna and radio mic, glow sticks, etc., would be a nice touch but not necessary ;)

The only extra detail I would like to see are knee pads lol.

Just suggestions, once again, but whatever you do will still rock because these units are awesome as they are right now!

@USRanger709: Yes indeed, atm I have only 3 models, waiting for bink to help me with some normals and stuff. Kneepads are already on one of the models. And don't worry, the models won't look the same. Helmets will have different colour, Tan, Olive Green, Black, Multicam helmet cover =) And equipment will be different for each unit.

ie: Aimpoint (Comp M2/M68 CCO and/or Comp M4), Eotech HOLOsight's (any model) and ACOG's.

Sorry to interrupt, but a patch (afaik they don't even were a 'in your face' DEA tag) doesn't make them DEA.

I suggest you google some DEA FAST footage first :) . Footage like this:

As starters, you could start replacing the DEA tag with this patch i uploaded:

The Safariland 6004 SLS holster, yeah that would be it.

Pity there's no mlod's for the force recon assault rifleman/grenadier as they have the Safariland holster.

Interesting that Magpul sold the rights of the Masada to Remington Arms. Remington Arms is also the parent company of Bushmaster. So... which one is more expensive, Bushmaster's ACR or Remington's ACR? I like the idea of the ACR using the 6.8 round. Those shot show pictures are outstanding too, great close-up shots, I'd be a kid in a candy store if I was there. :) DEA FAST units... nice!
