walker 0 Posted January 28, 2010 Hi gnasha DO NOT! buy second hand, there appears to have been several cases of people buying second hand only to find their copy was dodgy, they are not supported and probably did not get their money back. Buy new it is still on the shelves: 1) It is no more expensive than seccond hand see the links above and below 2) You have a contract with the publisher and developer so you are supported 3) You are supporting the developer rather than giving money to some one who has nothing to do with the game. BIS has list of Distributers: http://www.arma2.com/distribution_en.html And as I say it is still available in Shops like Game in the UK. Kind Regards walker

cossack8559 10 Posted January 28, 2010 Oh god the spelling nazi's are about! Don't buy second hand its cheap enough brand new without the risks :)
Zipper5 74 Posted January 28, 2010 Given that this forum is used by people of many nationalities, everyone should be typing in a clearly legible format for those who can't necessarily read that well, especially when text chat is used, leaving that to MSN or Facebook. But to answer the OP's question - do not buy second hand, you're more likely to activate FADE that way. Buying a new copy is much safer, and quite cheap at the moment. gnasha 10 Posted January 28, 2010 well i was only gunna give a couple of quid as for how i type its not my fault iam dyslexic u may find it easy to post messages try being me i guess most of the time if i can read what i have put most people can also make out what i have put also i use yahoo for a lot of words as you only have to put first few letters and it gives a list of what you may need now its taken me 10 mins to this post people would have done this in a min or 2 tops
Planck 1 Posted January 28, 2010 Sorry gnasha but your excuse does not wash, you may or may not be dyslexic, but typing 'u' instead of 'you' has absolutely zero to do with dyslexia and everything to do with laziness. For someone who is dyslexic you are very good at spelling dyslexic and everything else, seems you only have trouble with 'you', Personally I think you are using it as an excuse to once again type 'u' instead of 'you'. :p And aye, buy new, not second hand. :) Planck
lucas572 10 Posted January 28, 2010 Why is Arma2 so cheap anyway? I'd gladly pay the standard price for a new game with Arma, but you can get it for just over £11 on amazon & ebuyer... It's crazy when you think how great the game is...
