Would it be possible to have more hints about the quests in the game? Most of the time I'm runnung around not knowing where to go and occasionally get shot by the enemy chopper. That would really improve this already great mod!

Getting an error about BIS film grain missing every time I start am I the only one?

Other than that, there just seems to be a lack of direction for the player.

You start the game in the dark and have to investigate cars where you can't see. It's not horrible just confusing.

I managed to find a trader, with a gun on an invisible table. After I managed to complete the mission, I asked for another one and he gave me the same mission.

Is this stuff fixed in the 1.2?

I like the intro music.

should be fixed yes... if you got an error with grain filter it must be your vinilla arma2...

We are working on patches for the CORE and HD, but it needs some time... Because the scripts are running fine on some PCs and on some not... :confused:

DLC02 Call Of Prypjat:

- includes new weapons

- continues the story (linear)

- focus on Prypjat (real size)

- that's why divided into sectors

- 100% new gameworld

What real size of Prypjat? I guess you make mistake, cuz real name of "Ghost City" is Pripyat.

i was just poking around on the mod site and saw some of the new pics from call of pripyat. very nice. that new map looks great.

it shows that in the right circumstances color filters/color correction can really add to it:D

makes it look like your walking around in an old photo.

it also reminds me of the film stalker, by Andrei Tarkovsky. his use of both black and white film, and a very bright color contrast to change the way one saw the scene. the B&W segments highlight the decay and gloominess of the world, but the zone its self is lush, alive and colorful despite the crumbling buildings and general dilapidation of the area.

it was very cool, and in a way that i cannot quite describe, but yeah, thats a bit OT...

maybe in some future addon campaign you can pull such a trick ;)

edit: you know, i dont really know what i am asking. its just some of those screens reminded me of the film, which I love, and find to be an amazing piece of art. you should take my babbling about that stuff as a compliment

thanks^^ I just want to inform you all about that the patch version 1.03 of the core is in the testing phase and wil be released soon... here a short featurelist:

- added zombies and bloodsuckers walking through the zone...

- can increase performance on some pc

- fixed some bugs

OK patch 1.03 is out... And for all people who asked himselfes why there are no monsters or zombies included in the core... Now they are, not that much but they are, we had to think about the performance drop when we add to much of them...

so changelog:

- added zombies and bloodsuckers walking through the zone...

- can increase performance on some pc

- fixed some bugs

I verified that with him before and the latest patch contains the fixes from the previous one as well ;)
