second_draw 0 Posted April 7, 2002 Well, i did paintball skirmisk on the weekend and loved it. I also learned a great deal from it. 1) You learn alot about you so called "friends" My friends weren't bad at this but on CTF (capture the flag) missions and other defense missions, Remember you team mates 2) Cheaters Suck & deserve to be shot by REAL BULLETS!!!! Here a few bad cases. A mission we played was to blow a up some crates which was done by pulliing a rip cord which activate a puff of smoke and a small bang noise, There was this complete pr!ck who refused to admitting death and wqas even outside the accepted zone, who was only person holding up the offese on the objective, cause we didn't want to get sprayed by paint and end like spotted cheetahs (the animal) after skirmish. Our team was really tried not to go up to the b@stard and put a round in his "prized possesions". Another incident involved not in the game (due to death) firing upon the other team who were still in the game. The last but not the least by far was someone shooting at me after i clearly had signalled (gun up in air & everything) i was out of the game (it was the last game & i had no ammo so i left the game which brings me to my next point), they then proceeded to fire a dozen or so buggers into me. 3) Get lots of ammo You use alot more then you think you do even being very conservative 4) If you work as a team This cover a couple of points such as team tatics. An example of this would be the systematic fall back of our team (it was a mission were our team was being hunted but the other & we had to survive XX mins). This was very impotant as you are not the only person on the team, you don't have to hold up the other team by yourself. So basically from a day at skirmish (i spent practically a whole day at skirmish) cheaters suc & it's really fun. b.t.w. Try & go only with you friends, you will then know the cheaters & the ppl to "sort out" afterwards. Have fun

Major Fubar 0 Posted April 7, 2002 I played once, years ago, and loved it (well, all except getting shot in the bollocks, that hurt baaaad). Now unfortunately, in my state, the stupid goddamn government requires you to have an actual gun license to play this sport (part of the knee jerk reaction to the Port Arthur massacre). LordZach 0 Posted April 7, 2002 there was a law being proposed to have a gun license to own a BB gun here i believe. either that or classifying them as a firearm i don't remember. "well son, you're 12 years old now, and it's time for your first bb gun. safety class starts next week, you need to sign here to authorize your background check"

Gorgi Knootewoot 0 Posted April 8, 2002 Skirmish is great. I saw once somebody trying to use the NOCLIP cheat. That or he was just running against a wall.
