White articfacts...trees

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, sorry for yet again another problem. This time I am experiencing white flickering pixels, but only on trees. Again, has anybody had this problem?

The problem persists with or without SLi enabled. (I thought this would solve it but clearly not)

I am using 1.05

My spec:

2 x Nvidia Geforce 7950 GT

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+

4GB DDR2 BALLISTIX RAM

CROSSHAIR Board

*ugly* no, nothing like this. Much fewer, further away, overall more subtle.

Nvidia here.

edit: I might add it only happens when on photoshooting settings, 10 fps and below :D

I have the odd white flickering pixel artifacts, but not only on trees.

Yeah it was on other things before I changed drivers. I have edited my orginal post with my spec. Yes I am using Nvidia. And no the ones I experience are a little less subtle and do tend to flicker.

Btw thanks for the replies :yay:

Oh and it's not running on "photoshoot" settings lol

Anti Aliasing also has a flickery/transparant effect around objects against smoke/sky. This is a known problem that BIS actually told us about when we cried for them to activate AA. They said there will be some artifacts if they activated it. Too bad for people around my pc range or lower cause 3D render above 100% (wich removes this particular problem) is a big no no unless i want my pc to explode lol. :D

I dont have anti-aliasing activated? So is there a known solution to this problem?

Never thought I would say this but i'm starting to hate gaming on pc. All about money now, not quality.
