wuschel 10 Posted January 15, 2010 Hello, I would like to know if there is any chance for OPF or ARMA to see a dual core processor support patch realised by this software house. Regards, wuschel
chops 111 Posted January 15, 2010 That would be great. But BIS have already publicly stated that neither game is being worked on any more.
rundll.exe 12 Posted January 15, 2010 Didnt have Armed Assault have dual core support already?
W0lle 1050 Posted January 15, 2010 No, only ArmA2 has Dual core support. I highly doubt that there will be dual core support for ArmA1 and as there won't be any more patches for OFP, there will be definitely no dual core support for that.
maruk 80 Posted January 15, 2010 Absolutely impossible... But probably useful to know that modern GPU and audio drivers can utilize dual core pretty well so having dual core should be useful even for singlethreaded applications like Arma or OFP. The only multithreaded game from us is Arma 2. Hello, I would like to know if there is any chance for OPF or ARMA to see a dual core processor support patch realised by this software house. rundll.exe 12 Posted January 15, 2010 Guess its too long ago that I played Armed Assault :) But who cares, Arma II is superior in all contexts anyway.
