1.05 corrupted install from 1.02

I had a bunch of errors when updating this patch from version 1.02 they seemed to say something about steam. now do I have to reinstall from scratch?

I have yet to figure out how to interface Steam with ARMAII I have other games with steam and usually its just a matter of entering the install code.

Is there more servers when playing it via steam because theres just a handfull going through gamespy.

Ive had this game for 6 months and yet been able to find a game to play on a friendly server with out crashing and I was hoping 1.05 would fix everything.

I am a ex-WW2OL player and this game looks up my alley except I never been able to make this game work!

please help me Thanks in advance..

ps-hard drive not full 98gig left after download I have windows XP with a quad 3.0ghz amd processor 2gig ram and a nvidia gtx 285 vid card.

Uhhhhm yeah thats a site that sells the game of arma2 and other games. I don't wish to buy this game again.. I will google a file site that has the patch up still because I cant seem to locate it via any arma2.com links.

Also Why wouldn't the patch just tell me you need another version before this patch can be applied? so It just went ahead and corrupted my game from 1.02?? now I have to reinstall it all over again sigh...

If you have the steam version, download it. The version that comes down via steam is 1.04. (if you already did, right click on it in the steam games list, properties, and on the Local Files tab, click "Verify Integrity of game cache.."

Then run the 1.05 patch, which you can get from arma2.com, and you'll be up to date. http://www.arma2.com/support/updates/folder.html?lang=en

FYI: Patches do not require incremental updates. You can go from 1.00 to 1.05.
