Extract the music.pbo file in your addons folder.

i cant find the music.pbo and how do I extract things?

Hi,

1. Find your main Armed Assault Directory should be along the line of

C\program files\Atari\Armed Asault

something like that.

2. once you find the directory then look for the Addons folder

3. in the Addons folder look for a file that says sounds.pbo

4. you will need to extract this so get this :

there are a few tools in this, get the CPBO

5. CPBO looks like a pbo, double click on it it, and it shoud ask you "do you want to associtate something, something with this", just say yes

6. now go into your addons folder like before and get the sound pbo, and right click and you will see an "extract here" do that.

What you will get is a folder that will show up with the same title, go into that folder and look for the music folder.

7. the music files are in a OGG format so you will need to convert the file you want to sound file, not sure how to do this. hope that helps

Its abit old, but gets my thumbs up. I've been using it for years now. This will also create .lip files for syncing characters lips to audio files :)
