GTO 10 Posted February 9, 2010 I've been out of the service for 12 years and I'd still be able to run further than ACE stamina allows you. lol I smoke and take no exercise but I'm sure I'd never pass out from running. As I understand it there's no way to vary the preset movement speeds dynamically. Well there is already the heavy heartbeat + heavy breathing sound cues, so these with a forced walk (assuming viability of that method) would clue you in I expect. Bit of aim-shake too, until the unit is rested sufficiently would give another non-blackout limitation to deter you from running for miles. Defunkt 431 Posted February 9, 2010 I have to say it bothers me much less than I thought it would, there's something slightly cinematic about the way it cuts in and out but, yes, still rather artificial. I do think gradual blur would work better, I just wonder if they're trying to avoid over-using that effect as it's so widely applied in the various 'shell-shock' events. When the website browsers thing comes up I select ACE Vanilla and then install or update then hit execute and an error pops up saying that the program cant start because msvcrt-ruby18 is missing from my computer. Post a vid of yourself in helmet, intercepter body armor, boots, ruck and let's say 44kg of gear in that ruck. Stand on the scales to prove the weight is legit, then run 1,000 meters at speed similar to A2 rates. Immediately afterwards recite the first 20 lines of your national constitution.
