Arma2 - Crashing when trying new Island!

Hi, everyone!

I have problem with running unofficial ARMA2 Islands/half Islands.

I recently downloaded new FDF Podagorsk Island instaled as is needed to be in Arma2 folder in Addons folder. Then I started editor loaded map then I putet myself as civilian and pressed preview button, then game stoped and crashed to desktop and windows popup message apeard that said Arma2.exe has stoped working and green bar trying to find solutuin with no success.

This thing keps doing to me with all unofficial A2 islands as I said already. I have no crash problems with other Addons such as, tanks, planes, soldiers,...

I have Original ARMA2 copy, Game is patched to 1.4 offical. Im running game ond Windows 7 Ultimate X64. My pc is above recomended requirements.

Please help me find problem and remove it.

Check in the Arma2.rpt file and see what other errors you could be getting, it may tell you what your missing..Found in

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ArmA 2

Try the modfolder method.

Don't put the new island inside the Arma2/Addons folder.

Create a new folder named @islandname (ex:@FDF_Podagorsk (no gaps in the name) that contains a folder named "addons" and put the island pbos in there.

Then you need to modify your shortcut to include this addon by adding -mod=@FDF_Podagorsk to the command line.

The best way in general, is to use a launcher. It modifies the command line automatically and all you have to do is to check which modfolder you want activated when you play.
