it definatly seems like the same problem im having, this has happened with another mission i got. looks like ace need to fix something quick

Hey, I think I found the problem! Please make sure that when you run ACE2, you play with your stock profile without any glasses or headgear being set in the profile edit screen. That kind gets in the way of ACE2 and any missions that allows you to select ACE2 goggles and headgear. I tried with my stock profile with no glasses or goggles set in profile and everythings pretty again. :)

Well my ACE doesn't even activate at all in arma now, i only have the default bis loading screens.

Edit I stopped the freezing by disabling a few of my addons. i havent pinpointed which one it is yet but there is definatly a 3rd party addon (not ACE related) causing the crash

Sigh... Now that I have gotten rid of the freeze up in campaign 1 and 2, the save game resume crash is back again :( I need to do all missions one shot without saves as resuming save games in both campaign 1 and 2 gives me CTD. :( Doesn't happen to the other campaigns that I am currently playing.

jasonnoguchi you might wanna quit whining like a little bitch. SEALS 1 and 2 aren't even meant for ACE, as for the waiting, these campaigns are free, so deal with it.

BTW sick1 don't release a new campaign for every little change ACE makes. Leave all their stuff in, if they remove it, just wait for them to implement it back in.

i will 2nd that ^^ Sick1 is an awesome campaign maker and his work has been nothing less than 100% and he always makes time and effort out of his own day to ensure that the missions are updated , fixed and any changes to suit us.

I have found the cause of the Game freezing on the difficulty screen when you load other missions and camps and the big conflicts with ace its this addon

nothing appears... no menus no interaction... and medic won't heal nobody... Sick1 maybe this Ace wounding system is not so good.... I'm going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Downloading now latest ace 2 release. It seems is an hotfix...hope this should solve trouble.

Hmm try playing as a medic. If you press your interaction Key in front of a person the menu should appear. O and try it with the ACE Crew served weapons too

Sick1, any news on option 3? By the way, in the campaign, mission 2, after verifying the body, loading the trojan, i stole the kamaz truck ( i think thats how its spelled) and drove around unhindered running over everybody, and completing the remaining 2 objectives.. I'm sure thats not in the script? :)

I've got a little teaser for you folks. My next campaign is in the works and it's going to feature cut scenes and voice acting. The first two mission are complete and it is going to be the best user made campaign for awhile. The story will revolve around a spec ops team. Here's a hint- ODA!

Close but not quite. It's is on Namalsk and there will be sniper missions. Operational Detachment-Alpha Green Berets.

None of ACE command go now. Don't know what's happened. Example page up and page down should adjust brightness of nvg. Now make me stand or go prone like ACE wasn't installed. I updated game with KellyHereos dedicated server and tool AddonSync2009. Everything was perfect til yesterday. I'm going crazy right now...

Great job as always Sick1! But im having weird issue with option 3:

-The ace sight adjustment isn't working with seal or mercenaries units.

Noticed this on operation Iron Dawn as i was firing from the hill to the airfield, distance was about~950m i set the sights correctly but shots landed about 100m short. So i tried with editor, Usmc, cdf and ace units work like they should. But:

-All mercenaries (apart divers!) -not working

-US Seals -not working

-Us army -works

-Us SOF desert -not working

Also wind doesn't affect units not working. I didn't try every unit but few random at each group, also tested with different rifles. Also almost every unit not working chances to sidearm as the game starts.

None of ACE command go now. Don't know what's happened. Example page up and page down should adjust brightness of nvg. Now make me stand or go prone like ACE wasn't installed

Maybe these are related because the nvg adjustment never worked for me. Some of the ace features do work, like weapon resting and some not (sight adj. nvg adj. Huntir, gas masks and goggles) Tested on editor: Huntir and sight adjustment doesn't work for the same units as mentioned on my first post.

Maybe the author of the mercs addon can fix these issues. I have no idea about unit creation.

Sorted problem with ACE interaction. Still got no interaction after loading mission saved in sealsix3 campaign. All right when you start the mission but then after save and reloading ACE2 commands disappeared. Sick1 you notice this? I think it's correlated with all the changes ACE2 guys are making these days... Give it a try. Sorry for all posts but I'm new editing this deep...

"Stick2gether was removed because BI resolved the issues with the AI in the 1.05 patch.

And altough possibly not perfect, it will hopefully improve further in the future.

The module most probably will not have a come back."

ACE2 Stick2gether module needs to be removed from all campaigns from now on.

Hi, just a few hours ago, We downloaded this campaign and begun to play it. We play as a cooperative team, me, my brother, and the AI. The mission is great, but we found one very annoying bug (or do we do something wrong?); During the mission, there are several autosaves, as well as our single available own save, but when we try to load it, the mission starts from the beginning instead of loading the save. Strange thing is, that sometimes the save works normally and we load the last checkpoint. Are we doing something wrong? Is there some hint, that would help us? thanks a lot for any advice :) AL

Hey nice campaign awesome to be back in business. Just wondering how the hell do I confirm if ACE wounding system is on? I keep toggling cos im never sure.
