Well after hours of testing it runs o.k. on beta (it's a bit choppy), with :

Both res.-1280x1024

Visibility-3000

Texture-High

VM-Default

AF-Disabled

AA-Disabled

Terrain-Low

Objects-Normal

Shadow-High

PP-V.High great improve in fps if I turn it off but I like the effect :)

Well thats what PP is for, when you have to run fillterless, its to hide the uglys, and the VD is still to high to be stutterless... But get a SSD and mount the game on that, will run better for you.

HAHA ;) new problem I have is that after installing and uninstalling and than installing ArmA 2 again, I can't install the beta patches and that's a crap :(

Anyone any clues? I tried Reg Cleaning after the unistalling process.

I think I did that 5 times now, I mean installing and uninstalling the game. Still can't install the beta patches.

Thou it worked after the first installation on the very beginning, I just had to lose some space temporally that's why I uninstalled.

Ohhh and thank you for all the tips on performance.

EDIT : OOOPS how goofy of me problem solved. Just had to restart windows :P
