Having trouble getting my quad xml badge to work!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Hopeing someone can help me out here. I have my squad logo that I'm trying to get on the squad xml http://sh2.armatechsquad.com/inc/userfunctions.php?action=login

Well anyway, I tried as a GIF and the white on the badge was negatived and it was charcole grey. Well converted to a .PNG and they say it still doesn't work.

So the only other one they can use is a .PAA but I can't find any way to turn this thing into a .PAA... I've looked for 3 hours today with no results.

So could someone on here clue me in?

Thanks

Mitchell

I would link the pic but I can't get it off my desktop from here and the original location I got it from won't let me get the location to link it in here. :(

to make your picture into a paa forrmat you need textview 2.

this is included in the bis tools.

make your picture

example

256x256

512x256

64x128

sizes like that

png files loads up in textview 2.. just make sure the size is correct

if you still have problem..

put your image on dump.no and i can see if i can get it done..

'

its like 3 sec work..

urg... okay, got the the .png and editing it to 256x256 but when I try to save or save as it kills the transparent background... how am I to get around this? I tried one with the regular background after it saved and it loaded into the viewer fine and saved as a .paa file like butter but I want the transparent background so there isn't a big white blot around the badge...

i cant tell. i have no idea what app you are using to edit you picture in..

if your using gimp.

make the Interlacing (Adam7) box checked when you save the file as png.

i have had issues when i didnt use this in gimp

but as i said. you can uploade your pic to dump.no and i have it done in 3 sec instead of makeing 10 post trying to find the problem with your picture

lol this sucks. I'm just wondering why then on everything else it shows up white with a transparent boarder and then when we do this all of a sudden it turns grey.

Ahhh very nice!!! that last one should do it!!! Man, lol when ever I do anything in Arma2 I have to learn about 4 different programs lol. Thats awesome though thanks!
