Google "how to use arma editor" and you'll find tutorials to get you started with the basics. ArmA1 editor is pretty much the same as the ArmA2 editor and there is TONS of info out there on it's use.

There is, in fact, a very good manual in PDF form covering the editor and mission building. It was produced by members of this community.

It was authored by Mr. Murry (German) and translated into English by MemphisBelle.

A good suggestion. As powerful as we all know ArmA2 is, how much more exposure would it get if there were such included (or purchasable) documentation. You're right though - if something like Mr Murray's excellent document were available to buy off Amazon (in English I mean ;)), I would have it already. I'm one of those "book" guys, I always prefer a book to a PDF.
