purplespud 0 Posted November 12, 2009 Why in the digital age, the age of communication, is the http://www.arma2.com/ website not updated weekly? It gives a poor impression to those not yet customers. Why start developer diaries without a pal to update at least every other week or something?
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted November 12, 2009 lol AI was driving the developers to work one day an hit a fucking tree!!! OMG!!! j/k, but seriously, I have noticed its been very quiet the past couple months as well. I hope nothing serious has happened to someone inside or outside of BIS. Why start developer diaries without a pal to update at least every other week or something? Not my point of view. I like them to concentrate on relevant thingies. I like BI to be one of the few companies not burning all money on marketings like obviously Crashmaster did with DR.

-DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) Yeah, it is a missed opportunity not to actively continue to: do more editor video tuts write new blog posts tease people with OA screenshots use it to promote beta patches and its key improvements yes, kju. each of these actions has the potential to bring more sales to Bohemia. They are mistaken not to use this 'tool' more effectvely. Don't they like money? Who is their PR manager? Fail ! ;) Edited November 13, 2009 by [DirTyDeeDs]-Ziggy-
sbsmac 0 Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) Kju's post is spot on. I think it is unfair to imply that a certain 'P' poster in this thread is the PR manager - it is clear that there is no such roleat BIS. It's a shame though, BIS earn a lot of goodwill (and quite deservedly) through their work on the betas and by posting on the forums but they could build a much stronger relationship with the bulk of the community by spending a small amount of time doing the kinds of things kju suggests.
