In fact, v1.35 private [ADO] release main objective was to get a better FPS rate and v1.36 was all about dealing with the "no weapons" AI in Warfare due to the bad habit all those bots have to go bathing in lieu of going to fight.

Great up date, I have alway like this map. Is it possible to have more ocean around it for those that like to make coop missions in the next release?

Nice optimization, functioning pretty smoothly, however:

Brk main base has some issues.... There's a house between the runway and taxiway that needs to go (clipped it with a C-130... Epic Fail, but my bro had a good laugh), Additionally, the turnout from the taxiway to the runway at one end is slightly obstructed by a placed hanger, so that should be moved a bit as well.

Thanks for the quick fix. That one end is still a little tight, but I can live with it. Now to rick roll my mocking little bro, and life will be good again.

Hey... I just went to load it into the editor, and the editor doesn't recognize it at all. I suspect that when you suppressed the building, something got altered or removed (happens to me all the time). Can I talk you into giving it a look to see what went wrong?

hey, loving your map. great for a "cold war" sorta battle

what tool (s) did you use to make this and if i culd have premission to edit it slightly ?

Thanks for playing Sbrodj ^^.

This map being one of my early release is still in beta state because I have done some mistakes while building it.

The nice side of being a beta release is I still can do changes on it ^^.

As I have added the small islands for warfare purpose or suppressed the big rocks on these islets as asked by some missions makers.

So of course you can build what you want on Sbrodj, but you must just tell the base is Sbrodj by Old Bear ^^. And if asked ... and suggested accordingly to the ideas I have about the map, I can also edited the map and add or modified some parts or items.

I am glad to let you know I have also released, some time ago ..., a winter version still in early alpha state due some errors during map building.

[ADO] Winter Sbrodj v.alpha2

I am currently working on a port of ArmA Sbrodjistan , my 2nd map and the 1st release from the "sbrodj" family, to Combined Operation. At the moment the terrain is rebuilt as well as Mask, Sat, textures and vegetation and I am working on roads.

Speaking about the tools, I am using The Gimp, MaskMapper from Rocket, Texview, Visitor3 and BinPbo from BIS.

- Modified coordinates system, changed to 3 digits

Good stuff, OB.

If you get some spare time, it'd be really great to see Sprodj get a makeover sat-map and clutter-wise. At the moment, it looks a bit too plain, especially from a distance. Seeing fields where the vegetation indicates fields, forest-esque undergrowth where the forests are, gravel near the roads, etc, would be wonderful. :)

@ CameronMcDonald : you are quite right about the rather crude _Sat of this map. It was one of my first maps and there are from my point of view some issues on this island due to my lack of "expertise", the main issue being the 25m terrain grid size, the second one -invisible- is to have chosen CA for being the addons source.

My main concern at the moment is to bring all my Arma2 projects to a decent playable level ... before Arma 3 release ... and there are still 3 of them not publicly released :(
