EMSI 960 Posted November 20, 2012 Yes, there will be two versions. CAS - armed with 2 Sidewinders, 2 Mavericks, 2 pods with unguided missiles, on-board gun (marked with specific "hammer" symbol on the tail) CAP - armed with 4 Sidewinders, on-board gun (marked with "shark teeth" and different marking on the tail)
scajolly 14 Posted November 20, 2012 Sick, twisted and wicked! I've not read up on under what licenses you distribute your mods -- if the F-5 isn't standalone from the start, will it be possible for us to produce a non-CSLA variant?
EMSI 960 Posted November 20, 2012 Due to complexity of our Mod, we never released any model as a standalone. Anyway, there will be possibility to change the texture via config/hiddenSelections (but you will need to have CSLA installed).
scajolly 14 Posted November 20, 2012 Are derivative works allowed, ie to change the parts of the model or just the pbo to separate the F-5 from your pack and possibly remove dependencies? I'm sure you state this in a document somewhere but I no longer have CSLA installed, so apologies for questions possibly already answeered.
EMSI 960 Posted November 20, 2012 No. There isn't allowed any unpacking and modifying of our models without our exact permission.
EMSI 960 Posted November 23, 2012 AFMC troops were upgraded! As the AFMC command declassified new planes, also troops received their upgrade. All units received new bearing system ALICE, new uniforms and many other details. Now you can see easily the difference between all types of troops. This complex upgrade will be also inculded in the upcoming patch. Stay tuned for further info!

spooky lynx 73 Posted November 24, 2012 In old good OFP times your mod contained both OT-62 and BTR-50. Do you have plans for adding the latter?
MAA 127 Posted November 24, 2012 In old good OFP times your mod contained both OT-62 and BTR-50. Do you have plans for adding the latter? BTR-50 (and another new vehicles) will be released in later patches (2.30+). I hope we will upgrade our FIA fraction in ARMA2 to equal (or maybe to better) level as it was in CSLA for OFP ;)
spooky lynx 73 Posted November 25, 2012 BTR-50 (and another new vehicles) will be released in later patches (2.30+). I hope we will upgrade our FIA fraction in ARMA2 to equal (or maybe to better) level as it was in CSLA for OFP ;) Better? They even had very good air transport capability (Mi-8 and L-410). So do you mean adding L-410?
bars91 956 Posted November 25, 2012 Badass units! The SF operators will go superior firepower on the enemy asses! But what about those modern ESS wind/dust goggles on paras? Why not the USGI ones that were heavily used by the NATO armies in the 50s-90s?
slatts 1978 Posted November 26, 2012 Looks fantastic! Can't wait for the new units :) Keep up the top work
faly 0 Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) ...But what about those modern ESS wind/dust goggles on paras? ... Sorry, modern? Materials was changed, but appearance... Edited November 26, 2012 by Faly
lennard 447 Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) Sorry, modern? Materials was changed, but appearance... I think Bars91 means this one: I made one of those for my '03 USMC addon, but unfortunately my HD crashed some weeks ago and the chance that my files can be saved is very slim. Now I understand why it's neccesary to make a back up.. Anyway if I would be so lucky to get my files back I'm willing to share the goggle with you. bars91 956 Posted November 26, 2012 Right now the paras clearly sport the ESS PROFILE goggles: http://images2.opticsplanet.com/365-240-ffffff/opplanet-ess-military-profile-goggles-black.jpg As I happen to use one of these for airsoft, I immediately saw the familiar shape=) But since these are suppose to be 80s NATO units, profiles are anachronistic - the ones on Lennards refference pic are correct ones. faly 0 Posted November 27, 2012 AFMC are a poor armies. Their goggles may be a ski goggles ;-)
R0adki11 3949 Posted November 27, 2012 Nice new screenshots, looking forward to the update :)
bars91 956 Posted November 27, 2012 USGI dust goggles (most likely)were seriously more cheaper then the ski goggles. (at least here in Latvia one can get ESS for 60-80$ when similar good quality ski goggles will cost like over 100$)
