@ylli122: those bayonets are now there as a placeholder. Once we will develop the feature/animation to use them, you can be sure that we will inform the community about that.

Maybe our instruments like axe, mattock, shovel,... etc can be used as weapons in future too :)

How AI can flight at low level altitudes.

No special scripting used. Just placed standard "editor" waypoints.

Video fragment taken from the upcoming SP campaign code named '89.

No. 10 meters is very low and AI sometimes doesn't have enough time/space to rise up - especially when the trees are incoming. :D

There are values over 30.

Our radar operators discovered an silhouette of a new multi role aircraft. Looks like that the AFMC has a new air support.

For now we have only two low-res pictures of this new aircraft.

Stay tuned for more info from our intel.

Our plane L-39 captured interesting photo during the last night recon flight.

We are still not sure if it's Panavia Tornado, F-4 Phantom II or F-5 Tiger.

Comparing it with Warthogs I'd say they may be neither Tornado nor Phantom. Those who are waiting may be trainer/light attack jets, taxiing ones look like Tigers.

oof, although i know they are most likely Tigers, boy it would be awesome if they were Tornado's. Unbelievable that there still isnt a Tornado out for Arma 2...

One question tho, you show the AFMC base is in northern chernarus.. could you please explain the general storyline of the CSLA mod? is it during the 80s? 90s? who are the AFMC? Who are the FIA? same guys from OFP? Im a big fan of your mod, and would love to know a bit of the thought going into these pretty well developed factions.. Thanks!

The main storyline of the SP campaign is situated into the September of 1989 (campaign is called '89).

And the introduction to the campaign can be also declassified:

Soviet troops are still bound in the long guerrilla war in Takistan, so our government has been asked to provide an undercover operation in Chernarus. In this small satellite country of the Soviet Union a few months ago the local insurgents (FIA) attempt a military coup.

This was partly succeeded, but now they are dominated only on the south of Chernarus.

And just for the suppression of this coup, CSLA units has been sent here, as the second largest military force in the Warsaw Pact.

Rebels which attempted a coup are headed by the former Red Army officer (CA) Alex Lubrikov, whose birthplace is just a small town Chernogorsk.

Thus, it can be assumed that the members of its paramilitary movement were recruited mainly from local volunteers.

Therefore all of them have a very good overview in the operational area.

General Lubrikov was trying to catch a political power in Chernarus with his guerillas (FIA) and he wants to cut this country from the USSR.

According to the last intelligence report he has also a secret support from the alliance of the Midland states.

Their joint military coalition called AFMC (Armed Forces of the Midland Coalition) doesn't joint the conflict yet, but ...

As the situation across the unknown plane on the AFMC base was unclear, we sent there a small recon group to take closer pictures.

Unfortunately they don't reach the target area, but we have another smudgy photo.

Now it looks really like Northrop F-5.

Stay tuned for upcoming detailed info about the version, camo and squadron marking!
