CSLA Studio - work in progress thread

Recommended Posts

No worry ;)

This plane (with this evidence number) doesn't have this logo of 1st Tiger Squadron from SliaÄ base.

Anyway on the special "display" plane (for the airshows) will this be added.

We have it directly from the author.

Along with the core ÄŒSLA units we are working hard also on the ASR (Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic) units.

MiG-29 Fulcrum in modern digital camo ... which one is real ?

Smooth out the nose cone a little, and thin out where the tail extends down over the wings and you got yourself a dead ringer!

Awsome work!

Hey Csla-Team! im really excited about your mod! The pics about the tanks apcs and especially the fulcrum makes me happy to see.

i have some questions about your work:

1. Wich side will the CSLA be? OPFOR , Blufor or Neutral? id would be great if they are fighting with the russian comrades!

2. Can you tell me an release date? I know its an Unfriendly question but im so interessted ! lol

Cheers Leogecko

ÄŒSLA (Czechoslovakia) was part of Warsaw Pact, AÄŒR (Czechia) and ASR (Slovakia) are members of NATO.

We are still working on our projects but I don't know when it will be done.

So they will be OPFOR? :-D

Yes :)

ÄŒSLA (Czechoslovakia) was part of Warsaw Pact.

Maybe it would still be wise to put CSLA for independent. This way it would be easier to mix older and newer Czech equipment. Unless of course ACR and ASR will also include older gear :).

For historical reasons it will be as Faly mentioned, with the modern armies (BLUFOR) having all the stuff still in use from their past plus the new stuff. There is no real problem with sharing the same weapons or whatever, the mighty config file solves it all. ;)

Not yet. Our priority is to release ÄŒSLA units under ArmA2.

@WazZzaaa!:

As EMSI said, our highest priority for now is CSLA in Cold War era.

In low priority level we are working on another 3 projects: TFOR, ACR, ASR.

For sure, when CSLA will be ready then we will start working on T-72 Moderna-2 too ;)

Those are 2 Oerlikon KAA-001 cannons if i remember correctly. Didn't Slovenia make those turrets?

Oh, i think they cannons are 20mm.

@Drakhorse: SLOVAKIA not Slovenia! You should go back to school for a little ;)

... and yes, they are Oerlikons.

T-72M2 Moderna

Ver.1 with 2× imported Oerlikon KAA-001 20mm. This variant had problems with too big recoil during simultaneous firing of Oerlikons.

Ver.2 with 1× 2A42 30mm from slovak domestic production under licence.

My apologies. I had just been digging around IceBreakr's site when I posted that. Simple mistake. Honest. :p

P.S. - It's Darkhorse, although I will admit Drakhorse has a nice "vampire-ish" quality to it.
